He made some big time throws today in the face of the Giants best defensive performance, in a very hostile environment.
Some things are unknown, like our defenses ability to make plays when it matters. Our coaches ability to motivate our players. But the one thing thats for certain.
We've got a very special quarterback.

I really do think you can absolve oft-blamed whipping boy Tony Romo for the Cowboy's loss today. Consider these numbers:
112.1: Romo's passer efficiency rating. In 20 previous games in which Romo had a rating of at least 110.0, the Cowboys were 18-2. The only loss in which Romo had a higher rating was the overtime defeat at Arizona last year. He had a 116.2 mark.
392: Yards passing for Romo on Sunday. It was a career high in passing yardage for Romo. And, of course, when he's had 300 yards, the Cowboys were pretty much guaranteed of a win. The Cowboys were 18-3 in his 300-yard games. His previous high in a loss: 321 at Arizona last year and also at Detroit in the final game of 2006.
75.0: That was his completion percentage. OK, so I rounded up from 74.545. But, forgive me for having rose-colored glasses. It was the ninth highest completion percentage of Romo's career. The Cowboys had won each of the previous eight games.

Tony Romo > Drew Brees.Double Trouble;3123763 said:Romo played very well today, and has for much of the season. He isn't what's wrong with this team.
But special? Watch the guy up in Indy or the guy in NO. That's special.

Im terrified that we arent going to capitalize on this gem QB talent that we have.
Be patient. The core of this team is going to be around for a long time.Ozzu;3124289 said:This is what I'm afraid of. We're going to end up squandering the years of having a really good franchise QB along with lots of other talent around him like Witten, Ware, etc.
Nope, he doesn't get the "special" label until he wins a ring. I've read too many times on this site that that is a requirement for any QB to be considered good, much less special.Double Trouble;3123763 said:Romo played very well today, and has for much of the season. Honestly, I'm not sure we're even the skins.Ozzu;3123784 said:This team is the Commanders if we don't have Romo.

There, I said it...but I still think Brees' numbers are inflated because of the system and the talent he has around him. The Saints have a far better receiving core than Dallas.
