112.1: Romo's passer efficiency rating. In 20 previous games in which Romo had a rating of at least 110.0, the Cowboys were 18-2. The only loss in which Romo had a higher rating was the overtime defeat at Arizona last year. He had a 116.2 mark.

392: Yards passing for Romo on Sunday. It was a career high in passing yardage for Romo. And, of course, when he's had 300 yards, the Cowboys were pretty much guaranteed of a win. The Defense was absolutely atrocious and there was alot of poor tackling. However, the Marion Barber fumble was absolutley rediculous and Folk needs to be sent to IR and a new kicker needs to be brought in. he has missed way too many kicks and a FA kicker probably can do better.

I'm not being sarcastic. If it weren't for this guy this team would be in much worse shape than we are presumably (8-4) in.

He made some big time throws today in the face of the Giants best defensive performance, in a very hostile environment.

Some things are unknown, like our defenses ability to make plays when it matters. Our coaches ability to motivate our players. But the one thing thats for certain.

We've got a very special quarterback.

He certainly showed me, that he can put the team on his back if neccessary.

So important and encouraging to see that from him this late in the season, instead of having a repeat performance from week 2.

If he continues to play like he did today, I really like our chances going forward.

This pretty much says it all on how bad the rest of the team was today (besides the other members of the passing game of course).

Romo played well, but I don't put him in the category of "very special". He's good. At times he's very good. But with over 3 minutes to go he missed a wide open Roy Williams for what would have been a TD, and then on a 4th and 2 threw a ball at MB's feet so that there was no chance at a conversion.

Having said that, overall he was outstanding today, but we have to start winning these games. I realize he can't do it by himself, but at the same time we cant be satisfied with just stats posting. Today was on the defense.

There, I said it...but I still think Brees' numbers are inflated because of the system and the talent he has around him. The Saints have a far better receiving core than Dallas.

This is what I'm afraid of. We're going to end up squandering the years of having a really good franchise QB along with lots of other talent around him like Witten, Ware, etc.

We win maybe 4 games without Romo, and thats being generous. The guy did just about everything he could do to win that game. Not his fault that everybody around him was choking like dogs.

Be patient. The core of this team is going to be around for a long time.

I will agree with anyone who says Romo isn't in the same class as Peyton Manning. But then again not being in the same class as someone who's likely to be seen as a top 5 of all time QB at the end of his career is hardly damning criticism. Brees is having a better year, not sure I would take Brees over Romo for the long haul, but its a discussion I think.

Romo helps make this offense work. Hes probably not the best player on the team, he's probably the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team.
