Thanks, Romo! ***MERGED ***

Another example of a guy that had a great career but couldn't get it done in the SB but at least he won a Conference title and played in a SB. Romo didn't do that. Your comparison fails.

Wrong. The comparison is absolutely relevant. If you are going to bash one guy for not winning it all then you have to bash them all. I swear to god I hope Tony wins a Super Bowl with another team and hope he beats our *** in the process. Maybe then all the freaking morons in this town who know nothing about football will shut the hell up.

Why folks must slander players as they exit the team is beyond me. Unless that guy was trash from day one, then slander away. Romo did some good things here and he did some bad things in his 10 years as a starter. And most of all, he's a good dude. How can you not like a guy who gave his all. He left a mark.
Empathic individuals do not always relate to others who lack or are devoid of empathy.

It's easy to assign failure on a player in an individual sport like golf or tennis. You're totally to blame if you're putting to save par and the ball lips (sp?) the cup for a bogey or if you double fault on a serve. It should be a BIT harder assigning failure upon individual players of a team sport but it's not hard at all. In football, losses are assigned to the quarterback automatically. Everything else done or not done by ten other guys on offense, 11 other guys on defense, special teams and coaches for 60 minutes is totally irrelevant. Quarterback mistakes, real or imagined, are solely considered. It's a simple philosophy that self-validates lack of appreciation for what quarterbacks cannot control by themselves.

whoa whoa whoa. I totally sympathize with frustration brought on by other people's nonsense but I disagree with Romo beating Dallas in the regular or postseason. Heck, I don't want him beating Dallas in the preseason. Can we just hope that Romo has all the success in the world without his good fortune keeping us from winning? Besides, nothing Romo could do elsewhere would change closed minds.

Wow.

You are right and obviously I don't want us to ever lose but I tend to get emotional.

Who else just pre-ordered their #9 Texans jersey?
