Another example of a guy that had a great career but couldn't get it done in the SB but at least he won a Conference title and played in a SB. Romo didn't do that. Your comparison fails.

That's all that ultimately matters. Romo is a super guy but that's about all.

Dude, what is your deal? This is a thread thanking Romo. Take your trolling elsewhere. There's nothing sadder than some dude on the internet downplaying the successes of others in a thread meant to reminisce.

^^^ that is reminiscing. I appreciate Tony for all he did but he's not Ring of Honor material. And with a ID name like "TheRomoSexual" I expect a slanted POV so I understand you disagreeing.

Man, I'm sorry you have so little going on that you have to troll in a thread titled "Thanks Romo." It'll get better, I promise.

Danny got us to NFC title games which Romo never even got us close enough to sniff. Romo's stats are meaningless without the bling. Plus... Danny White was a far better punter. :D

QB's never drag 21 other starters anywhere...they go together. TEAM

That's right, knock on Dak for duplicating Romo's excellence. That's a winning argument.

Dak was ROY. Romo didn't do that... not even close, didn't even play as a rookie. ;)

What's your deal, man? You want to troll, go do it somewhere else. If you don't like Romo, that's fine, but don't go ruining a thread that is thanking him for his time here in Dallas. Be respectful.

Why folks must slander players as they exit the team is beyond me. Unless that guy was trash from day one, then slander away. Romo did some good things here and he did some bad things in his 10 years as a starter. And most of all, he's a good dude. How can you not like a guy who gave his all. He left a mark.

I'm not disrespect Tony Romo. I appreciate his time here but he's not Ring of Honor material. That's all I'm saying. I've not told any lies or called him one derogatory name. I presented his factual record of 0 SB wins and 0 NFC title games. If you don't like the facts of those number then don't get mad at me, get mad at Romo. He's the one that did that.

I'm sorry your life is so poor you have to spend so much time trolling. You may want to visit other sites though before your mom tells you to get off the internet.

Lol whatever, man. The guy owns every Cowboys passing record ever, was our starting quarterback for nearly 10 years and carried this franchise on his damn back. If Jerry would've realized sooner that Tony couldn't of done things by himself, then maybe we would've won a NFC Championship game or two and maybe even won a Super Bowl. But Jerry thought Romo was Superman and that he could win the whole thing by just his right arm. He's a beloved Cowboys player despite his haters and deserves to be in the Ring of Honor just for simply keeping this franchise afloat for so many years.

Brad Johnson - 1 SB win
Trent Dilfer - 1 SB win
Tony Romo - 0 SB win, didn't even get an invite... go TEAM.

Thanks for proving my point. When crap qb's get a ring...then you know the ring is a team thing...not a qb thing.

Thank Jerry for the crap teams and junk HC he has had.

It doesn't fail in the slightest.
Dilfer has an AFC championship ring and a SB ring. So Dilfer has the bling, as you put it, and which I thought that term stopped being used in 2010, so he is better

Thanks for the memories.

It's a pity Jerry couldn't build a good enough coaching staff/team around you.

Hopefully he won't butcher your successor's chances in the same way.

The disrespect Romo gets is really ridiculous.

All of these Quarterbacks with really good to great defenses that get rings get all the praise. Of course there have been some Quarterbacks that did do it all themselves, but they are few and far between.

This is a team sport and for the vast majority of his career in Dallas, Romo had garbage on the other side of the ball as well as blocking for him.

And even with that, he and his team only had one losing season in his tenure.

Thanks Romo for all the memories and for frankly keeping us competitive despite the hot mess that was around you for so many years. Perhaps you can go to a team with a defense that can stop a high school team consistently or with a head coach that knows when to call a timeout or one that has mastered the ability to actually manage a professional football game.

In the meantime, our beloved Cowboys will still be trotting a bad defense and a clueless head coach out onto the field.
