Dude has a serious pair. That's what the Cowboys need in a coach/organizational leader.

Not to diminish the size of his pair, but he credited two backup QBs for pushing for both of the trick plays.

If only our backup were that committed to us winning.

You don't have to tell me.

I see how he frowns, I have heard he says voodoo chants against tony under his breath and I have also noticed that when he is standing there holding the inside of his shoulder pads, if you look close enough, he is actually flipping off romo with both hands.

:D

I definitely thought this one was going to be a dud.

But from the comeback OU made to capping it off with the tying two point conversion and then what looked to be the game winning int return, to Boise's 4th and 18 hook and ladder for the tying TD and then the OT, it was one of the best games I ever watched. Definitely the most entertaining.

They are the talk of the sports world.

They should be. That is a quality program and has been for years.

The best thing out of this is that it might open up some eyes to the fact that there are some good football teams that most don't see. The WAC, MAC and Big Sky all have exciting brands of football that unless you are a fan or just a college football junkie, you won't see often.

He has vaseline under his pads, grease's up then throws in a new ball for Tony to play with...

"Hey Romo, try this ball....(evil laugh)"...

I have to wonder now if Boise will try to get in a larger conference.

I am not familiar with how things go with the conferences on that side of the US. If the other ones would let Boise State in or scoff at the idea.

However I remember another small school, Marshall, that was doing really well and decided to finally jump from the Mac to the CUSA (still a mistake IMO) because they thought that it would help their team out some.

Of course Marshall's coach retired and they have been struggling so far after really switching offensive philosophies.

But the point is I have to wonder if Boise state has any ideas of joining a larger conference after this.

As you have said they have been a good program for some years, although some only know them because of the blue field.

They were impressive and deserve their props.

I admit, I usually pull for the underdog, but for some reason going into this game I was hoping they'd get steamrolled to shutup the "little conference" talk about wanting in the BCS bowls. It seemed the last few years a quality team was getting left out just to appease a small conference, weak schedule team that finished with a great record.

But after their show last night, they deserve all the accolades and attention they're getting and proved they deserve to be included.

The only logical ones would be the Pac 10 or Big XII, and I don't see the Pac 10 bringing them in or the Big XII for that matter.

Also, now that they show they can play with the big boys, they may as well stay where they are. They can probably win their conference every year and be in the mix of a BCS game.

If they were smart, they would stay within their niche, which is collecting the players that are good, but for whatever reason won't be attractive to the PAC-10 schools.

If they try to compete with the big boys closer to home for most of these kids, they will lose.

If were a hotshot prospect from L.A., would you go live in Boise?

I don't even think someone from Boise wants to live in Boise.

That one kid the were talking about last night was an interesting story... HS player of the year 2 years running in NJ.. from the same town that Rutgers resides.

Another story line that was interesting to me is Boise States HC. Only because their HC from the previous years came down here to Boulder to coach CU. Have high hopes for the guy succeeding and maybe he will.

But after expecting some degree of offense because of the amount they had up there, it was kinda funny that I'm not sure CU even scored a TD in like the first month of the season. ;)

I'm not going to get into the debate about the Boise State coach going to the NFL or Cowboys but I will say heck of a game by the Broncos last night and really enjoyed the heck out of that game. OU fans must be hurting big time today. :laugh2:

Hey BP, what a great weekend to be a Mountaineer fan, first the upset of #9 UConn in basketball on Sat., and then to come from behind by 18 (twice) in the Gator Bowl.

That game reminded me of the Pitt game, where Palko owned us in the first half, but after the halftime adjustments we shut him down, and shut him out in the second half.

Pat White is a warrior !!

Slaton needs to up his pain threshold.

Agreed it was a good weekend and great half time adjustments as we were getting killed in the first half.

Far as slaton goes, prior to the game even the trainer said he did not see slaton being able to play too long.

I gave him a little heck in the Cards game for not being out there, hard to rip on him for this one considering what the trainer said.

Either way...White is a warrior.

Yes, but if you give Chan Gailey a month to get ready, he can figure out a way to move the ball with his offense.

He is a very innovative Offensive mind.

Plus, Calvin Johnson was a man amongst boys. (in the first half :D )
