That Jets loss is looking worse by the week

Forget the jets. Win the division. Tomorrow, today will be yesterday. Can't sweat the past.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains."

That Sunday, Aikman played what surely was the worst game of his pro career, looking more lost than ever in a hopelessly humiliating loss to the Jets on the New York stage. Losing like that could send Johnson into truth-spewing rages -- and occasionally he would regret what he said to those closest to him.

Those Jets were not these Jets.

Analagous context.

Dak sucks when everything isn't perfect

The qb that looked great against us, is blowing big time against the rest of the NFL.
I hope this loss does not come back to bite us big time at the end of the season.

Of course it will. Look at the rest of NFC. You can't afford a loss like that this season. We will be on the road in the divisional round again, if we make it there.

It amazes me how a man can spend decades watching football and still not have the slightest clue about what he's seeing.

This place has several of those guys.

The Jets loss is just one loss. It means we will have one less win at the end of the season but it should not be something that the team can't overcome with two games against the iggles to keep them at bay. Beat the iggles in week 16 and forget about it or better yet, win until week 16 and make the last iggles game not matter. Have faith in your team, people!.

Uh....Aikman HAD one of his worse game vs a team called the Jets. So Aikman gets no blame for sucking, lol.

I would ask any Garrett apologist, if he were HC of the Patriots for the last 10 years, would those Patriots be as good as the Bellichick Patriots??????

The Patriots wouldn't be as good with any other coach...

The title of this thread had me fooled. "The Jets loss is looking worse by the week." Yes it is, but not for the reasons in the OP. Every week I watch these Jets play I still can't understand how Dallas could possibly have lost to them. They are not only a dumpster fire, but Greek fire! You can't put it out. Yet somehow Dallas couldn't beat them. Darnold doesn't have any time in the pocket against anyone. Dallas comes in and he has more time in the pocket than hard candy at a retirement home! Darnold got sacked 8 times by the Jags. 10 times by the Eagles. 10 Sacks, that's not an offensive line, that's a Rosie O'Donnell shopping cart. Yet somehow the Cowboys DLine couldn't do much against their O-Line.

As sad as it may sound, the game vs. the Jets was a wakeup call. We are totally dependent upon our OL to sustain our success. As long as our backup OTs are as limited as they are, and Tyron's back is troublesome, those problems will resurface. We seem fine as long as the starters are healthy but if that's not the case, injury losses become an insurmountable threat.

To compound that problem, our coaching isn't capable of alleviating such issues. Here's hoping better OL depth and better coaching are addressed and corrected in the not too distant future. Until that occurs, we'll be vulnerable whenever injuries to certain positions of poor depth haunt us and the coaching is unable to adjust. In the meantime, we might simply have to live with it.

It COULD be a concern, or maybe it means nothing. You just never know. We’ve been spanked during the regular season many times, Super Bowl years included.

Its amazing how any QB in the league can look good when he has time to throw.

Looks worse every week because Darnold feasted on our defense, and every other defense is crushing him, since.

Put it perspective, it was a bad loss, but it's still just one game.
NFL doesn't work like NCAA.
