FYI, I can see this team as anywhere from a 6-10 to an 11-5 team. Just too much in the air right now. They looked bad the last two games, but looked good the 3 prior. Maybe they just got burnt out of preseason?

While your smacktalk sucks donkey gonads, I don't want to pull you up on that, it's your overall point thats the problem, the fans are overconfident, not the players. I wouldn't write the Skins off, but there are always going to be teething problems with a new, rookie head coach. They could start off terrible and pull it together midseason. But the point is this the Snyde is a bad owner that needs to step back and hire a decent GM. Yes, I expect you to rip Jerry and his overbearing ways, but he can always hang his many hats on the three trophies he has won. Old success is always better then none.

While i don't agree with opinion that the Commanders are going to go 3-13 or something like that, I also think you're being overly nice to your team with this really lame idea that they burnt out.

There is a much better reason why they didn't play as well in the final 2 games than they did the first 2. Actually a few.

The one against Carolina, in particular, they ran into a team, that unlike the games prior to that, were playing their starters for a longer period of time and were actually game planning. The Commanders were never as good as their brief moments of the starters were in. Now that they've come across some teams that were putting some actual game planning in, and the Commanders were actually doing some game planning, offensively, rather than playing very vanilla stuff, they have come back toward Earth. They aren't going to be as bad as some here predict, I don't think, but they're not going to be anywhere near as good as 11-5 unless they REALLY come together quickly.

See, that's the difference, I'm not so (what's a good way to put this) conceited that I think I can predict any football team's record (I've actually said this numerous times) but to say something ridiculous like 3-13 deserves to be called out. If you wanna call me out, how about agreeing or disagreeing.

If somebody would have said, I think they could be as bad as 3-13 but could foreseeably win 6-7 games, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But the Skins not being able to win more than 3 games? Cmon, even Miami could win more than 3 games at this point. They said something stupid, I called them on it and they backed down.

I actually got the idea from this forum... A lot of people said the reason you guys got destroyed by Denver was because they were burnt out at not being home and decided to mail it in. If you want my real opinion on what happened, here it is.

Joe Bugel (our OL coach) was in and out of camp for two weeks because his daughter was on her deathbed and he needed to be by her side and later, the funeral and to take time to grieve (and for the record, that's the exact place he should be, football be damned). In the meantime though, our OL was without a coach and ran into one of the better DLs in the league completely unprepared. They broke down and the offense couldn't stay on the field, the defense got tired and when Jason Taylor went out with an injury and that one play where the fumble went right into a sprinting Steve Smith's hands (he didn't even have to break stride), the whole team just deflated and mailed the rest in.

I stand by the fact that the Panthers embarrassed your starters in the dress rehersal game. Infact, it was so bad that JZ had to play your starters in the preseason finale and your starters stunk up the joint again in that game. Am I or am I not correct. You tell me!!! And I damn sure stand by that....

I see you completely ignored my post tho. And yes I stand by my post, it was nothing but the TRUTH in it. I live here dude, I see exactly whats going on with your team. Fans are worried and concerned. Infact, so are you, stop frontin like you're not. It's no secret, everybody saw that your starters stunk up the joint, including your HC. Can't wait to listen to WTEM, it should be fun...:laugh2:
