The 2024 QB class

I'm aware. This is why I said it's cute that some here are pretending the Cowboys have a GM.

Stephen and Jerry make the final decisions on things as a GM does on other teams. Jerry does give himself the GM title, but yeah, he isn't really.

Those in here acting like McClay is the decision maker are amusing. Yes, I know he has some input, just like ANY other personnel guy, but he makes zero final decisions.
Cowboys are one of the best drafting teams and also best at finding quality UDFA’s in the league. Packers have a GM but suck at finding talent.

dak will be playing in dallas another 6-7 years barring a major Injury. I don't see dallas doing much in the draft at qb. Anytime soon.

That's right. These guys that dwell on the qb position for Dallas are way off in their thinking.

Your definition of “good return rate” is different than those wanting to get to a SB.
Well if you're only given a 4th and 7th Rd pick then that's a great return. I was responding to the query about McClay's ability to draft a QB....well he hasnt really had a chance (and no failures).

Who drafted Dak??

McClay was Director of Pro/College scouting so I assume he'd have a say. In any case, since being in charge of the draft he's never had the picks to draft a QB so we can only assume he'd (with his team) do as good a job finding one as he has in other parts of the roster.

The UTEP quarterback Gvin Hardison has a pro arm, and I've seen him mentioned as a late rounder, but man, he just has not progressed.
