The Bengals have released OT La’El Collins from PUP. He’s now a free agent

Collins should always have stayed at Guard, IMO. I didn't like it when they moved him to Tackle when he was with the Cowboys. I thought he would struggle because of his arm length, which he did. He's better inside than on the edge.

It’s looking like he came into the league with a good attitude but went back to bad habits after getting paid.

Getting cut from PUP tells me the Bengals weren’t happy with his rehab work. Or lack thereof.

He is an elite guard but a decent tackle. I’d take him back in a heartbeat as depth at guard.

Definitely take him back for league minimum or very low wage contract

Collins downfall still trips me out. He was elite for a couple years. Dunno if it was the Injuries or he got paid or both.
