***The Blame Game Thread*** Merged.

And who won the Philly game?

Idiot...that's all that needs to be said.

Who on the Cowboys is to blame for missing the playoffs.
I would say there is some serious blame to go around for the Boys missing the playoffs.
We improved a lot from last year and we just didn't make it. Period. We try to improve more this next off season and hopefully things will turn out better next year.

hangmen.....what kind of fan are you duke? santana moss burned the entire nfl man....and roy has never been exceptional in coverage anyway.....aaron glenn was supposed to be covering him anyway....

Trying to blame not making the playoffs on the SECOND GAME OF THE SEASON is as dumb a post as you can get.

- Who won the Philly game? Well McNabb did...idiot. My Fat Aunt Mary coulda made that pick.

- Nah - Glenn never said that - If you know football, you know Glenn's job there is to take away the sideline and push Moss in - and he did but Roy was not there.
But Hey Roy hits hard - on occassion.

You just start following the team this year?

Same **** different pile for 6 years with Zimmer

nope, been a fan since '92

now to the real question at hand, can you bring any facts to the table?

Ya, Roy alone. Not our kickers for missing crucial FGs. Or Bledsoe for throwing costly INTs. Or the offensive line for providing absolutely no protection or running lanes game after game. It's just one game that cost us. One player. Roy Williams.

The coach is always the blame. It's his system, his players, his kickers (since I don't consider those 2 kickers players/ he bought the groceries, and cooked a horrible meal.

I blame the D collapsing against Washington, and the O not executing for large stretches this year, plus some questionable decisions made by Parcells

so in essense...the whole team, from the bottom, up

Well wait...you blame the whole team except Zimmer. We would be 0-15 right now if it were not for Zimmer. That is what you pretty much say. You are his #1 excuse maker.

I still think the BIGGEST blame is the OL and our Kickers. If we had a good OL then Parcells and Peyton coulda run a more open offense. Hard to run a open offense when Bledsoe is getting sacked and knocked around as soon as he gets the snap.

Totally Disagree, its our head coaches fault, no kicker, no good backup offensive tackle, Parcells fired our kicking coach, then did he go out and get a kicker NO! let alone the offensive backup tackle, so to me, its Parcells and Kicker, we missed a field goal in 1st Commander game, a field goal in Denver game, and a field goal in Seattle game, all could have put us at least the 1st Commander game, and Denver game, 2 wins, that would have us before the game tonight at 11-4, so who to blame, Parcells and kicker. PERIOD!!!!!

I know this is hard to do...because it is much easier to start a bunch of threads to place blame.

But how about trying something new.

I know....How about placing these blame so and so posts into an already existing thread.

I know this place is going to turn into, and quickly, the biggest finger-pointing pityparty imaginable.

But Roy Williams just is not the donkey to be pinning any tails on.

This will be a ten win team, most likely, and ten wins historically most ALWAYS get you in.

It won't be enough this year, and sure, there is plenty of blame to go around, starting with Bill.

But scapegoating sucks.

Flat out sucks.

I blamed the D for allowing 35 points against WAshington, so in essense, I blame Zimmer, but 1 game out of 16, and I can't really bring myself to blame Zimmer for the Cowboys missing the playoffs, but I can blame the offensive execution that hurt us in more than 1 game this year, and a shoddy kicking game...

Two Words : Santana Moss

It was all Roy's fault...not AGlenn's.

Mr. Pro Bowler - who couldn't cover Tony Siragusa got burned.

How tragic...you examplify what's wrong with this forum. It's high-strung ppl like you who make it hard for the level headed readers and fans to want to spend their time here.

In the future, can you excerise some restraint, and remember that just because this is a Cowboys Forum, doesn't mean you have to share your feelings, when ever you have them.

Just leave man, if you are going to start idiotic threads like this.

Roy Williams is the least of our problems

from now on, anyone who tries to refute me, must bring a semblence of fact to the table

is that too much to ask

Does 10 wins really matter when Washington Stomped us 35-7 in tghe biggest match of the season? Isn't that a good indicator of our heart? or lack thereof?

Basically, an overall lack of talent, but more tangibly, a horrible kicking game.

That's really it.

We aren't good enough at enough positions.

I would say the sorry excuses we had for Kickers and our joke for a OL are much more to blame.

There are tables with better legs then what Cortez and Cundiff have.

Our OL couldnt protect Bledsoe from a pop warner defensive line.

Why blame Roy?
Cowboys controlled their own fate down the stretch and blew it.
Here's where the blame should be placed -> Parcells, Zimmer, & Peyton.

No I will go out on a limb and say Roy doesn't deserve to be in the Pro Bowl. (Flame Suit On) :D

I've always felt Roy should be moved to outside linebacker. I think he'd be an ELITE player if he could be around the line of scrimmage on every play.
