I would say there is some serious blame to go around for the Boys missing the playoffs.

Start off with our kickers. They deserve all kindsa blame for it.

The kickers didn't and wouldn't have made any difference in that 35-7 debacle against Washington. That was the defining game in this teams failure to make the playoffs - which they would have if they had won.

So where do you start if that's the game to give blame???
Parcells. It starts and ends with him. He did not have this team prepared nor did he scheme well for it. Again, if they come out and lose tonight to the hapless Rams then it's time for BP to hang em up.

I blamed the D for allowing 35 points against WAshington, so in essense, I blame Zimmer, but 1 game out of 16, and I can't really bring myself to blame Zimmer for the Cowboys missing the playoffs, but I can blame the offensive execution that hurt us in more than 1 game this year, and a shoddy kicking game...

Wait nothing is ever Zimmers fault or HIS Ds fault. It is all the offenses fault for not scoring 36 points in that Commanders game.

Why blame Roy?
Cowboys controlled their own fate down the stretch and blew it.
Here's where the blame should be placed -> Parcells, Zimmer, & Peyton.

and none whatsoever on the player's? hmm, cuz if I'm not mistaken, didn't Bledsose already come out and say this year, that...THEY...THE OFFENSIVE PLAYERS...needed to execute properly? blaming one (the coaching) w/o the other (execution) is quite frankly: moronic, idiotic, shallow, stupid, unbelievable, biggest load of crap, and any other adjective you can come up that fits those aforementioned

Gibbs was always the better coach and Greg Williams is now a better football man than Parcells.

Williams should be our target - Lets hope BP Quits/bails/lies again /snakes off.

wait, I thought the object of the game was to outscore your opponent? the Eagle's 3rd stringers put 20 on that same Commander D, fighting a playoff collapse

and once again, I blamed the D for giving up 35 points, but I also can pinpoint a large part of the blame too on the O, for only putting up 7 points, as well as that huge kicking gaffe

Is that why Parcells is 500 against Gibbs, because he is inferior?

There's plenty of blame to go around, and it's fun to point fingers

But we just didn't win the games when we needed to. Our fate was in our own hands and the team couldn't handle that responsibility

What was the score of the the game versus Washington in Game 1?

What was the score of the game versus Washington in Game 2?

let's break this down:

game 2 -> Biggest game of the year for both teams
game 2 -> Dallas came off a huge win against KC
game 2 -> 28 point swing in favor of Washington

Oh, and lets not forget Dallas went on to beat Carolina IN Carolina the next week.

Outcoached? You bet.
Yes, I agree Dallas needs youth at the skilled positions and I also don't agree with teh players Parcells has brought in here to fill those spots, BUT this season I put sorely on the shoulder of the coaches. This team was good enough to go to the post season, not good enough to win the Super Bowl, but good enough to enter the playoffs.

sorry, I think that's a load of crap, esp. when I hear a player say his side of the field isn't executing properly
