yes, after the hold, and after Irving raised his hand in protest because he was taken out of the play the guy slides off and he is pancaked.

That's what I see. Irving's upper body is leaning backward instead of forward and his weight is on his back foot meaning he is being held. Officials usually once they see you hook your arm around someone's neck will call a hold even if they don't see the rest. In this case, you can see the rest as well. Guilty.

Unless we blow these guys out next go around the refs will rule in GB favor all the time. The Arod led GB packers have always gotten misc gifts from the refs against us. The conspiracy is deep in the NFL.

Grow up people, there is no bias. That's a perfectly legal block. Nothing to see here, move along.

In case it wasn't posted, here is the block on Rodgers pass before the game-winning field goal.

I was wondering if this the official moving on from the "was it a catch or was it not a catch?" era and the ushering in of the "was it a hold or was it not a hold?" era?

Perhaps we could combine the "was it a hold or was it not a hold?" era with the "Butler 30 year penalty" era.

I'm just ready for the "Fair game in the playoffs against the Packers era"

I cant handle all of the gloating by Packer fans after the officials have awarded them yet another playoff victory. If your going to reply with the whole you cant leave it up to the officials bs just save yourself the time. We made more than enough plays but happened to get screwed by penalties that hadnt been called in 30 years and such. The more time that passes the more I get pissed off, just like 2014.
What's most annoying is not a SINGLE one of them is objective enough to agree. Of course "it wasn't a catch" because it happened to the Cowboys. If that exact scenario played out against the Packers, they'd all be pissed like we are. I hate Packers fans, and I'm glad one got jumped after the game. I'm sure he deserved it

Bottom line, we need to crush teams in the playoffs and not allow the league/refs to control our fate.

I agree. We cannot win close games. We just can't unless we get lucky. We are always going to not get those calls. We need to play well and win big for the league not to screw us over. I'm used to it. I thought the NFL was going to help us this time after "the catch" in 2014.

Cue the guys telling everyone to man up because the team should be able to overcome any lopsided, situational penalty thrown at them.

I was thinking more along the lines of why torture ourselves looking for every uncalled foul or missed opportunity?

We lost. The game is over. Nothing is going to change the result. It sucks.

Irving got mugged. Refs likely reluctant to make the call at end of the game similar to refs in hoops. Doesn't excuse inconsistent officiating and innumerable complex rules that have made refereeing such a prominent aspect of football that displaces the athletic drama and diminishes the NFL product.

And on Sunday the Packers will be flagged for all the penalties that the refs miss in the Cowboys game due to the uproar of the officiating that the game generated from the media. Or maybe not.

The still is misleading. The video shows the guy just slid right off of Irving (who got pancaked from the other guy - you can see his leg sticking out).
You couldn't out yourself to any greater degree, just like your stupid rejection of the Dez catch in Minnesota. You are a traitor.

Rejection of the Dez catch? I said the ball was out of bounds as he went out of bounds. It was. Someone else mentioned it recently as well. The rule was presented and it clarified that it was still a TD.

Unlike some I will defend the Cowboys when they warrant it (very few defended the Dex catch more than I have), but I don't have blinders on and can admit when a call should not have been in the Cowboys favor.

When the image of this came out I showed it to my wife and was pissed off. Then I saw the video.

Don't be an ***.
