I'm glad, at least, the refs caught the penalties that actually have an impact on the quality of play and the game, Butler's unsportsmanlike. /s

I've never been a guy to complain about the refs being an excuse for us losing, and today I'm still not doing it. Our defense and some questionable clock management cost us the game, mainly the defense.

I advise caution concerning any voodoo doll made in Mara's likeness:

Is that an actual picture or the South Park drawing? I honestly can't tell.

What is sad is there are only 3 guys rushing the passer and 2 of them are right next to each other.

Yet they still decided to eat their flags. They say refs don't want to decide things at the end of games, yet no calling blatant penalties is doing just that.

Unless Pitt is allowing a 2 pt conversion, then they can call holding on a game deciding play.

It took 4 hours for our bias point to get proven.

Still don't understand why Packers seem to get the benefit of doubt on ALL calls......Dean Blandino must have a relative working in the NFL Office.

and there is the grab of and control of DLineman by hands to the shoulder pads for all to see also......as noted in the Lions SB Nation post .........in the last 1/2 of the post. Its been posted /threaded before, but in additon to the piggyback/neckhold........here is the shoulder pad holding that G.Bay Lineman make more use of than any other team in the NFL .......

How the Packers got away with constant holding against Lions
By Andrew Kato
The Lions and Packers were playing by two completely different sets of blocking rules in Week 3.

No owner, non-profit, city of 100,000, publically owned, one of the original teams....

While all of those things are perfectly nice, none of them justify favoritism from the league and officials.

The player that really *** this whole play up was Lawrence. Green Bay's left tackle easily baited him to the inside by stepping to the left at the snap which opened a gap and Lawrence pretty much wiped himself and Irving out of the play. I'm convinced Lawrence's football IQ is lacking. The Packers then slid a lineman out to keep the linebacker from spying on Rodgers since Marinelli had not changed up this strategy since the first meeting.

Are you part of the conspiracy? You must be if you think that's a legal block.

I'm being facetious. There are people in here who continue to claim there is nothing fishy here. When not 4 hours later a less egregious hold prevented KC from tying another darling franchise.

In case it wasn't posted, here is the block on Rodgers pass before the game-winning field goal.

I just tweeted this pick to Dean Blandino. Doubt he responds.

The narrative is that our pass rush is inept, and to an extent, rightfully so...but even the '85 Bears wouldn't be allowed to touch Aaron Rodgers on that play. The refs would have swallowed their whistles on them too. SMH

Good for you, it will be hard to deny such compelling visual evidence, even for Dean.

This... is what ultimately led to their demise this season. Marinelli is a great coach but he hedged his bet when the game was on the line against one of the most capable QBs the NFL has ever seen. JMO

In all seriousness, the Cowboys need to send this play to the league and ask for clarification on the application of the holding rules. We deserve the right and ability to teach our linemen to play within the rules as they are properly enforced.
