Can you put in a moving clip of this?

That picture is proof positive that the results of too many games are compromised by the miscues of the officials. Their failure to render proper judgments is crucial to the integrity of the sport. Unfortunately, bogus calls and non-calls are altogether too commonplace. I truly hope the NFL finds a way to improve upon that but I surely wouldn't be likely to bet on it.

What is sad is there are only 3 guys rushing the passer and 2 of them are right next to each other.

Yet they still decided to eat their flags. They say refs don't want to decide things at the end of games, yet no calling blatant penalties is doing just that.

Looking at the picture it appears they're both being held also.

He doesn't even really get a chance to hold as Irving is almost immediately pancaked (by a guy who has him engaged right off the snap). If he hadn't got pancaked, the guy maybe slows him down, but as the play went, #70 had no impact at all on Irving.

Go frame by frame quickly and you see #70 has his hand inside on Irving immediately, and as Irving goes past him his arm slides around and out. It's a good no call.

Other calls in this game were poor, and I saw holding on the Packers that wasn't called, but this isn't one of those plays.

My question is...what's the point of having Durant play as a spy? Rodgers isn't going to scramble for 40 yards with any time left on the clock to go for a FG. Either rush with another lineman, or spy with a fast DB that can get to him in a hurry on the outside.

Thanks or posting.

The video is much less damning than the still image. Basically the guard put Irving to the ground. Lang had very little to do with it.

The guard is almost completely hidden in the still image.

I actually watched the replay multiple times this morning and I was vehemently arguing Irving was taken down, which he was, but after watching it it's less fanning than it appears..

There are two points when watching:

1. The first was a clear hold by the Center off the snap

2. The takedown actually happened by the OT to the left of the Center. How it happened was our DE came in between the Center and the OT, the OT pushing opppsite the direction Rodgers planned on rolling out.

That DE in the play kind of got somewhat pass the OT and that OT, went past him, kind of falling into Irving grabbing him and taking him down. The Center after the hold is blocking that view.

So it's more like a fall into Irving and taking him down in the process.

Nothing you can say, really. If I was Irving I would have had a very loud conversation with the refs after that one. Make people take notice.

Of course both Buck and Aikman were silent about it. You know they saw it but they can't rock the boat.

Earlier in the game, on 3rd down, Rodgers was throwing out of his own end zone, there was an even worse hold in the middle of the line. I wish I could find a clip of it to share. That should have been a safety.

come on now, quit being such a blind homer. We ripped one of the packers WR's jersey half off his body down the field and it was a no-call...that went in our favor.

Bias is a horrible drug.
Right. Because everyone is denying we got away with two holds on defense! Jerks!!

No wait. Almost Every single post has conceded that. What many have also stated is the degree to which these plays affected the outcome. Also, the fact that that is a common judbement call and could've been missed. The tackle on Witten nearly directly took away 7 points. The Butler play at least 3. Maybe 7. The stranglehold on Irving led directly to 3. The hold that Brown commuted was incorrectly called a Pi which led to another 3 instead of a punt.

Not to mention the Butler penalty being one of the strangest and most obscure penalties and playoff history. Ignore the fact it was misapplied in this situation and the NFL has admitted that to other teams.

Yes. All that is pretty equal to both teams.

Please find it. I remember it. I erased the stupid game from my Dvr to prevent a 187 from occurring.

"Everything, and I mean everything, went against us."

I hope physical harm comes to Dean Blandino, Roger Goodell, and his boyfriend John Mara.

Can anyone make a Voodoo doll of these 3 please?

That's the one that stood out to me.
