The Bright Side...

It still makes me laugh that J.Jphnson puts together his pressure defensive game plan, and Zimmer just sits back in coverage. I am starting to believe BP has a bug in his ear.

Umm, the time that Zimmer blitzed ended up with an 86-yard TD.

Nice try, but we have a thousand 1st rounders on defense and no way we should give up over 400 yds to any freaking body. Look out when the Colts come in , and where the "F" is our pass rush?

Just how bad did our O line get owned? JJ rushed for 100 yds, so the run blocking was not too bad. The pass blocking was not good at all- and Bledsoe had a bad day as well. Add to that we gave up 2 really big plays and that was that. This is a game that will either make us or break us this year. We either pick ourselves up and move on or sink right into the calcutta crapper. Got to admit that giving up the big plays to a WHO THE HELL IS THAT wr's is something I DID NOT SEE COMING.

They carved us up in the middle of the line.

Not just the middle. No player on the team played worse then Adams. He let Darwin Walker nail Bledsoe three time (untouched). Not to mention the times Howard schooled him.

yes bledsoe had a bad game, but our line was back to the same old stuff, they could not stop them at all, on some plays they came right up the middle untouched.

"To some extent"? You've got to be kidding me. Bledsoe sucked, but no position played worse today then the OL (pass protection).
You're probably right, but I had low expectations of them. I used to at least have faith in Bledsoe's throwing ability, but his accuracy today was horrible.

yeah and since that worked so good why didn't we stick with it, I'll wait

Yes he sucked bigtime, but how many throws were off cuz he was getting nailed when he threw it?

No excuses for him, just pointing out the facts. Doesn't matter who the QB is if someone's hitting his arm when he's throwing it.

I agree, but if Bledsoe moves just a littel bit, he could have boiught a little more time. Blitzing Bledsoe is easy, just bring it up middle.

We have seen the best that Bledsoe has, which is not good.

I'm ready for the Romo era to begin.

You can't go into a hostile environment like that and start the game off the way we did and give them all the momentum. That's just adding fuel to the fire.

When McBriar muffed that punt and Drew coughed up the ball I knew what type of game it was gonna be.

flo=to slow, everytime kosier blocked right adams was to slow to pick up the gap, foot work, footwork!

so again, why do they refuse to use the shotgun? it isnt like he's (Bledsoe) never used it...that isnt his fault, its the people calling the plays

that said, he was horrible today...he was horrible on opening day...he was mediocre at best vs Washington...and he was average at best vs Tennessee

he deserves to be benched, but I know Parcells wont do it

David

There are going to be some good things to be taken out of most games, but there are some very alarming issues coming out of this one. Some things came way too easy for Philly, without going too much into depth. I'd rather not right now.

Our D gave up about as many big plays as possible.

Offense couldn't block philly to save their lives.

Bledsoe played like complete crap.

And we still could have, and should have, won the game at the end.

6 years ago, the way we played today, we would of lost by 50 points. On a BAD day, in Philly, we still only lost by 2 TDs (and really just 1).

If we played even a little BELOW average (Instead of WELL below average) we win this game by 10 points.

and they played without Kearse and Stallworth and the refs gave us a first down on the drive to tie the game. There is no bright side to this game.

I'm just wondering at what point does the coaching staff realize that Bledsoe isn't going to get it done?

We know he's good for a TD or two a game and at least 1 or 2 picks. That is unacceptable.

I want Romo to start next week. It's the Texans a game we should win. Why not see what we have in him on a Sunday?

If you'd been following the team you'd know that Gurode sucks at shotgun snaps.

Don't necessarily disagree with you about benching him though, but anyone that thinks it was "All" Bledsoe's fault is clueless.

The refs didn't "Give" us anything. There's no question that was pass interference.

Right...

And they were without Jevon Kearse and Dante Stalworth, 2 players that definately would have had an impact on the game.

I disagree. What, with Kearse they would of had a pass rush? Oh wait, they ALREADY had a pass rush.

What, with Stallworth they might of hit a long TD play? Oh wait, they did that WITHOUT Stallworth.

No difference.

I think they might know, but it's really too late to do anything about it. We should have started developing a QB a couple of years ago if we wanted to have one ready now.

I hate to say it, but Parcells has made a mess of the QB position from the minute he got here.
