The Bye Week Game | New York Giants 27 New Orleans Saints 48 FINAL

Watching the Saints defense, you got to wonder about the one that got away. Cowboys had a chance to sign Greg Williams when he was released by the Skins, but Stewart was entrenched as the DC at the time.

Cowboys release Stewart a season later. Williams is a former Buddy disciple who always has his guys playing physically and aggressively. Always has tough D's, mentally as well as physically.

Hopefully, Allen Rossum can add to our punt return game what Hixon has demonstrated for the Giants today.

He's just so one dimensional that teams will clog the middle and make him run east-west. He needs to be a short yardage/goal line guy.
That's why Bradshaw is so valuable to that running game. I consder him to be A LOT like MJD.

Bad throw by Eli - forces it. And now we know why Bradshaw doesn't start - he blows at pass protection.

Why dont we blitz corners and safetys like the Saints? Force the QB to make quick decisions!

Because our LBs rush the passer and don't drop in coverage alot. And when we do send a S he overshoots and misses.

In another news, Matt Schaub has 347 yards passing and 4 TDs against the overrated Bengals and it's still in the 3rd.

I see you joined the forum in January 2009. Is that when you started watching football?

I've got about zero trust in our safeties to play coverage if we blitz the corners.
