Eagles coaching staff have taken a almost extreme stance against turnovers, hence the move to the short stuff. They have reigned him in on running, their recievers are very limited

as Parcells would be apt to say............they are trying to keep him on the reservation, as was said about Romo early on.

I give the Dallas D a little credit on this one, the thing they are doing pretty well this year is tackling, not much YAC after a catch.

Wentz will be a good QB. The worst part, though, is the insane praise he's been getting. His first three weeks, he was on fire. Since then, he's been average at best. He truly does not have a WR that's even a little bit reliable. Matthews has a ton of talent and is a freak athlete, but his tendency to stone-hand a football is brutal. Agholor can't catch and hardly ever gets separation. Josh Huff stinks. Ertz, while he's put up good numbers the last two years, isn't that good. I understand why he's struggling. What I don't understand is why people don't acknowledge that he is. It's fine for him to not be be lighting the league on fire, but why do so many pretend he is? He's not a great QB right now but someone said a few weeks ago that he's "Peyton Manning pre-snap and Aaron Rodgers post-snap." ***?

In a separate post, I acknowledged his lack of weapons. But let's stop talking like he's the most impressive young QB we've ever seen. He's not a great QB right now and has had four very rough games, the last 3 being extremely average.

These 2 will be the story for years. If Wentz had any weapons or a WR that could catch the ball, it might not have been close. Look for them to make deal on 11/1.

Wentz has averaged under 190 over four games? I didn't realize that. And 6.0 YPA? That's pretty pathetic all around.

They made a move for a WR already, it just isn't working out all that great yet.
