He did, its more a sign of him being comfortable in the offense and having Dez back than him not being able to throw the ball deep.

On the downside though, this game will be a blueprint for opponents and they are going to attack Dak until he proves he can beat blitz packages. He had a QB rating of 50 until late in the game and opponents are going to attack him the same way.
Is it Dak or is it the play calling? We knew what was coming but it seemed like our WRs were still running deeper routes. I think it's a combination of inexperience and play calling.

There were underneath guys open that they showed on at least a few of those plays. I think it was more Dak tonight. He'll learn.

It is a combination of things, if Zeke busts that 60 yard run in the first quarter the entire game plan changes. I haven't watched the replay but Dak had 7 - 10 passes that he flat out missed, that really isn't on the playcalling.

That was the knock coming out of college. I specifically remember reading about his tendency to drift backwards and throw off his back foot which causes the ball to sail on him. We saw that a lot.

However, that's stuff that is correctable. An off-season of work and he'll be fine.
He should call Peyton Manning who spent hours over the summer he return from injury on exactly where he should place his back foot on his drops. He even discussed over and over on film with his old coach who is now at Duke.

He had his chance against the lions and failed.
He had his chance against the Commanders and failed.
He had TWO chances against us tonight and failed

Hell it only took Romo bobbling the snap against Seattle for people to start calling him a choker, so lets give Wentz the same treatment

I didn't like Wentz much coming out of college, question his head sometimes. But it's clear, he has all the physical tools to be a top tier QB in this league. This isn't an RGIII, this is a legit QB with a ton of potential.

Let him grow this year and get him some receivers and he's going to be dangerous. Whether he has it mentally to win big games we'll see.

I was impressed with his throws, but do they even let him look more than 8 yards downfield? Is that the coaching or is that him?

And his receivers are hot garbage.

Fortunately all teams aren't good at blitzing...like the Cowboys for example.

Ya he will be dangerous from 6 yards and shorter
