Rush carried Dak's scrub team to 5-1... Inspired that defense unlike Dak...D
Did Aikman do it before he got a super team? Nope! Lol.

In 1990 We had a chance to make the playoffs but it went down hill when Aikman got hurt. People act like it was a SB team and Troy joined them as a bus driver. lol Barry Sanders proved you aren't winning anything without a great QB especially back then. No way does Dak go to candlestick and beat the 49ers. He can't even do that now and these 49ers teams aren't even close to the ones we had to play in the 90's.The difference is Troy was part of what made it a super team. Dak is not.
Dude, where in God's name did you get the idea that I think Rush is who I want playing QB? I literally said he's a bottom tier QB. You are reading this all wrong so let me clarify it.again, the offensive output in every statistical category was better with Dak than Rush.
the defense played out of their minds giving up 13 in that stretch on average.
do you think this defense is capable of going entire season giving up 13 on average? if yes, then praise the Lord, lets go with Rush and lets win a championship.
so do you think our defense is that good? yes? no?
and what's this love affair with Rush? I don't get it. I don't see what people see in this guy. fact is in the NFL nobody wanted Rush. Literally he was on practice squad and no one signed him to be their back up.... so all of the NFL folks are stupid, but you know more? and Dak will get a large contract from some team next year, but all the NFL GMs and teams are stupid, except you, because why?
Dak sucks in playoffs. We all want that elite QB to save us. Dak is not that.Dude, where in God's name did you get the idea that I think Rush is who I want playing QB? I literally said he's a bottom tier QB. You are reading this all wrong so let me clarify it.
Rush is absolute trash at the QB position. He couldn't start anywhere in the league. He went 5-1 with Dak's roster. Dak is one of the highest paid QBs in the league and can't win playoff games with that roster...ie Dak is vastly overrated and has been carried by a roster that even a bum QB can win with, yet he finds a way to somehow turn into a worse QB than Rush in the big games. We don't need an elite top 3 QB to win big games with, we need a solid, mentally tough QB that doesn't piss himself when the game starts out rough....and no, Cooper Rush is not "solid." Just to clarify.
Ask yourself why Rush ever started a game for the Cowboys. Then, ask yourself why he stopped starting games for the Cowboys. Enough already with the Cooper Rush nonsense. The great thing about Rush leading the team, is they intentionally didn't let Rush loose...
It was 17-3 at half against the Bengals.. Rush had no trouble moving the ball.
Against the Giants, Dallas was ahead 6-3, was up 13-3 and then scored 10 in the 4th... In fact it was 23-13 with 6 minutes to play. They didn't need to score more.
Dallas was up 12-7 against the Commanders, at half, 15-10 after the third Dallas scores 10 points in the 4th.
Against the Rams, Dallas was up 16-10 at half and scored 6 to win 22-10...
They were playing with the lead in every game. Even against the Eagles, they were down 20-3 at half, but Rush got them two TDs by early in the 4th to make it 20-17, but Dallas defense folded on an 8 minute drive.
This idea the defense won the game for Rush is a loadof hogwash.
And this was Rush's first season starting... If we go by Dak in this second year with allhis experience, he was complete garbage... Give Rush about 8 years too with the rosters Dak has been playing with, I'm sure he can get to the playoffs multiple times to lose in the first round like "elite" Dak...
Inspired? Wow. Ok. So the defense went oh crap Rush is the QB and we better get our arse in gear or we are done. So yeah he inspired or probably scared the crap out of them.Rush carried Dak's scrub team to 5-1... Inspired that defense unlike Dak...
Raiders will pay him and all Dal cares about is money.Tell me what incentive Dak has to accept a trade to a team largely considered a non-playoff caliber team, and I'll at least start to listen.
This is so irrational, but so timely... we have nothing better to talk about, of course.
Raiders will pay him and all Dal cares about is money.
The Raiders will not pay him. They signed a bridge QB for $12.5 million per year to play while a rookie quarterback is developed. They are not, even if they had the cap space, going to sign Dak even if he were a free agent. They sure as **** are not going to give up draft capital for him. They have this notion that if you can find a quality quarterback and have him on a rookie contract you can afford to build a team around him and compete for a Super Bowl.Raiders will pay him and all Dal cares about is money.
If you go back and look at the thread's first comment, Craig Carton put that story out on April 4th ---Are we to assume at this stage that this was a story put out by Daks people - either flaoting an idea to see if the Raiders would bite (and they didnt) or to try and make out other other teams are intetested to put pressure on the Cowboys to extend (which they didnt).
So was our Houston friend inferring that the Defense only 'played up' for Rush? Maybe that's another reason for moving on from Dak.....he doesnt illicit loyalty or inspiration from the Defense. The great thing about Rush leading the team, is they intentionally didn't let Rush loose...

But your argument always tends to revert to ..."who would replace Dak"? Well from that very post it appears EVEN a QB at the level of Rush can win games and the CAP saving by playing a Rush (esque) can fund defensive improvements (and maybe an up grade in the O-Line).again, the offensive output in every statistical category was better with Dak than Rush.

It's all clickbait, which none of the participants are particularly upset about and isnt in their best interests to contradict: LV - showing fan base they are serious, Dak - as he's got an alternative, Jerry- i'm a dynamic no messing GM and Media - read our take (making us money). If you go back and look at the thread's first comment, Craig Carton put that story out on April 4th ---
THREE WEEKS after the Raiders signed FA Gardner Minshew to a 2-year contract for $25 million ($15 million guaranteed)...March 14th.
Las Vegas signed him to compete with last season's starter Aidan O'Connell Aianhad to be QB1 for 2024.
So that "rumors story" had nothing to do with 'Dak's people' as you put it - trying to entice LV.
This Carton guy threw that out there while being unaware - or ignoring - that the Raiders already had a plan to bolster their quarterback situation.
Also - both team GM Tom Telesco and HC Antonnio Pierce haven't totally ruled out selecting a QB in the upcoming draft.
Since this thread was created last week, I viewed several Raiders forums, fan sites, and blogs. No where was Prescott mentioned as a possibility for going to Las Vegas. No stories on sports media about it either. Ditto for the official team website. It's all clickbait, which none of the participants are particularly upset about and isnt in their best interests to contradict: LV - showing fan base they are serious, Dak - as he's got an alternative, Jerry- i'm a dynamic no messing GM and Media - read our take (making us money).
Exactly, media led story to target the biggest target audience .....Cowboys fans. Find a fit and pass it off as a rumor.....as I say none of the participants are particularly interested in dispelling the 'rumor'.Since this thread was created last week, I viewed several Raiders forums, fan sites, and blogs. Raiders Nation wasn't involved or concerned with Prescott.
I agree, I wouldn't be looking at Dak either if I was the Raiders. If you go back and look at the thread's first comment, Craig Carton put that story out on April 4th ---

I've noticed that any given free agent, trade bait player, college prospect, or even guy in the stands that scored 4 TDs for Polk High will have media articles claiming "interest" from the Cowboys.Since this thread was created last week, I viewed several Raiders forums, fan sites, and blogs. It seems Raider fans aren't happy with this possible move.
