The case for Pollard

Yep...people act like the Cowboys are the only ones with contract management issues. The Ram's are in some deep trouble. Most teams have to push the limits of contracts, you have to keep your best players in hopes of the ultimate prize. (and cue the patriots as "proof" I am wrong...haha).
I agree thats my point as well....

and zekes in 4th place, 2 yards out of 3rd, I think 3/4th in TDs,

so id say as bad as the play calling and abandoning the run in 2nd halves because we get down so far, id say my point is Zeke has not fallen like the rest..as much as the haters try to point out hes not the same as his rookie year, who cares hes still producing, hes not getting hurt

..I guarantee when deals for Mcafrey, Barkley, and Cook etc come due they will have the same demands not sure they get 15 but they will get top 5 pay..its past of football you pay the stars and technically no one lives up to sports deal of that magnitude..

some fans act like oh no dont pay RBs you wont see a return , really so many overpaid QBs, CBS, and DEs as well that are making MORE then the RB heck nearly 3times at QB and they dont even get to the playoffs.. so its all the same, no difference...you pay your best players and Zeke is our best player..

I think you meant to say traditionally you pay your star players..but you'd be wrong again. Traditionally, you don't give huge deals to RBs because they tend to wear down faster than QBs and WRs.

Case in point..all those other guys you mentioned. RB is the most replaceable position on offense. Whether you believe it or not. Case in point would be Pollard..who I would be more than comfortable with as our starter and believe our offense would be just as good.

All those guys you mentioned were great when they got paid too. You see how quickly it can fall off.

Pollard had more fumbles than scrimmage yards today.

The play calling is what killed the running game. Sorry, too many short yardage situations we passed instead.

Yea that’s a no from me dawg

Pollard is what he is a backup/3rd down specialist that can play in the slot, someone who can give you positive production when he isn’t turning the ball over with his limited opportunities.

That’s dumb.

It was Pollard’s first fumble of the year.

Terrible game.
Having said that, that play was doomed from the start and Elliott should have been in on the third down..

Think we can put the competition between backup running backs to bed. Pollard is not in the same league as Sanders in the battle of the rookies.
