The Case For Tre Harris

Watch the tape. He's big, fast, runs hard after the catch, plays physical, will go up and get the high ball, can take the top off the defense. Makes big plays, and plays the game with high energy and tempo. He's a rare Size, speed, and skill combination. Again, Alvin Harper/Jerry Rice type of body and skills when they were in college. I firmly believe Tre Harris will be another Justin Jefferson style star WR in the NFL.

If all we're going to do is run deep routes, sure, he's good at that. But he looks like he has cement in his shoes on shorter routes.

Not the best route runner...decent player. I just don't see a first round player unless you really just want a deep threat.

For me, it's his feet...when he gets moving he has a nice stride. But it's like he has clumsy feet or knocking knees or something. Can't put my fingernkn

Harris reminds me a bit of Michael Clayton (Bucs fame). I do like him but don’t think I’d pull the trigger until the 3rd round. That said, he’ll probably go somewhere in the mid to late second round though.

Lance has him as the tenth wr with an eventual plus starter grade. The injuries are a big issue for me.

I just watched every target and touch all season of each these WR's...and Tre Harris looked better than every single one of them.
Not sure what you were watching for. Dude lacks burst, he's a build up speed type.

What did you see that makes you say he's the best WR in the draft?

No chance I would take him at pick #12 personally, but we all have our own thoughts and opinions and we won't know for quite a while who was right. I just don't think any of these WRs are all that great this year
Yes, this is a weak class.

Someone got upset earlier when I pointed out that there are several DTs rated over the best WR.

I disagree. It's about getting open and making plays. Everyone has different skill sets and physical abilities and Tre Harris just JUMPED off my screen. The other WR's didn't. He plays with higher energy, passion, and attitude. Go watch the Just The Tape video on YouTube. 14mins 16secs of Tre Harris doing work.
Whoa there, youngun. You disagreed, then stated stuff that isn't stat related.

He does play hard. Just not a 1st round talent.

Size- 6'3" 210lbs
Speed- Burner, consistently gets deep
Route Running- Looks like A. Harper/J. Rice
Catching- Hands, through contact, attacks the ball, and physical ATC/RAC
Conditioning- Phenomenal shape/worker

Look, Tre Harris is the single WR in this draft class who is head and shoulders the best WR. His film jumps off the screen. It's not close. He will be the pick everyone will regret not selecting. I would take him at 12, I would not risk him being selected by anyone else. The lack of interest in him is a smoke screen, he is plug and play WR2 day one week one in Dallas. Adding Tre Harris to Lamb, and Turpin would be the best WR group in the NFL.

Best WR in this class imo. Not Golden, not Burden, not McMillan, and YES even better than Travis Hunter (as a WR).

Tre Harris is a WR1 legacy pick.
Even if everything you say is true, you don't draft a player in the first when you know he'll be there in the 2nd. Or in this case, probably be there at 76. It would be a waste of resources.

If someone wants him before the 4th round, let them parttake. We have other very desperate needs than a WR w/ a limited ceiling. He kinda reminds me of Escobar. Good hands, some good measurables, but lacks the burst to get open.

He ran an official 4.54, he rarely plays up to that speed, has issues with acceleration, lateral quickness and change of direction. Has a tendency to round off routes. He a product of Dart when the play breaks down. He’s a slightly better player than what we have in Jalen Brooks!

Tre harris at 12 would be worse than Stewart.

Oline and running backs are weapons, no?
New ol coaching guru
1st round lt, all pro 1st rd LG, promising 3rd round center, 2 average rg, Steele played better towards the end of last season.

An avg rb in rico got 1k yards behind that line.

We have lamb and and a bunch of guys at wr.

We need a clear cut wr2. Not many guys in or after the 2nd round will be that for us.

We need talent at the rb. I'm a huge henderson fan don't want to wait until all of the rb1 backs are gone and have to settle for specialist type.
