The coaching staff changes for 2010...

What is this fascination with the 4-3? We have personnel for the 3-4 not the 4-3. It's a thoughtless fascination.

Rather we like it or not!! Head Coach: Jason Garrett, OC: Paul Chryst, and DC: John Fox..

There is a good chance this will happen. I could see us going back to 4-3 after Wades gone. A new area starts under JG and the 1990's mentality goes back to the 4-3. Since Jason can not get Capers to leave Green bay.

...the 4-3 solves everything?...it's the same mentally fragile players...it ain't the scheme my friend...look at GB conversion to 3-4 in just one year...they are the top ranked defensive unit right now...

...Johnson's wide 4-3 was based on speed at every position...you think the Cowboys have speed at every position right now?...

...Garrett would be a poor choice for HC considering his offense is and has been feast or famine nearly the entire year...it has cost the Cowboys real games...

Hue Jackson is a great name and has Garrett ties. Crossed my mind as well. We would have to offer him a raise to get him away from Baltimore and I did not have room in my scenario.

I like Aiken but I dont believe he could make the jump from DL coach at Iowa to NFL DC that easy.

Dennis Thurman, how could you not like that choice?

Keith Butler, I guess that's one way to get in the 3-4 Pittsburgh influence

Arron Kromer, no thank you. I dont like anything he has done in NO

Unless the Bengals let Zampese go it would be a lateral move

oh if Jerry wants him he will get him - Hue Jackson - I wish he hire Ozzie Newsome

this is the first time of me trying to look at Coaches - here a page I found that list all the pro coaches

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_National_Football_League_staffs#New_York_Jets

Aiken is Dline coach for the cards

Veteran college assistant coach Ron Aiken enters his third season with the Cardinals after being hired to coach the defensive line on 2/14/07. Aiken joined the Cardinals after spending the previous eight seasons at the University of Iowa coaching the same position

I know that about Zampeze but dang sure like his old man here

how about Thomas "Pepper" Johnson as the DC -
Johnson began his coaching career as an assistant linebackers coach with the Patriots during the 2000 season.[1] Johnson then served as the Patriots' inside linebackers coach from 2001 through 2003, before moving to defensive line coach in 2004.

there be another way to get the 3-4 in here

Brian Ferentz how about him as QB coach

Bruce Matthews as O line coach

What the heck has Chryst done lately to warrant a chance in the bigs??? Maybe when he was still with the Beavers w/Derek Anderson & Stephen Jackson, or even after his first season w/the Badgers (2005), but I notice the Beavers are still playing well, and the Badgers are not. Wisconsin's offense is terrible.

And Chrsyt's short time in the NFL was uneventful.

And the only way to bring Capers to Dallas is to offer him the HC position. Don't think that is going to happen, but man his creativity on defense would have been a thing of beauty for the Cowboys, especally b/c his area of expertise is the very same that has been a Cowboys' weakness since the 90's, secondary play and disguising blitzes. I still curse Stewart to this day.

The Badgers offense is TERRIBLE?

put up 33 points a game this season playing in the cold and windy big ten where there are no podunk states on the schedule. Chryst is an amazing offensive mind. Power running game, slick passing game. Lots of deep shots down the field.

Exactly,

this has been a down year but they still ranked 34th overall and averaged over 415yds per game, 32.75 pts (ranked 21st), tied for 7th in RedZone offense and 4th in time of possession.

His offense does all the things needed to help teams win football games including keeping the defense off the field.

Badgers also go 1 back with either 2 t.e's or 3 wides a great majority of the time. The Badgers still run the rock with great authority, but the 3 yards and a cloud of dust thing has been gone since Chryst was named offensive co. He REALLY uses every strength the team has. VERY nice passing game.

I live here in Wisconsin. HUGE fan of Chryst. He and Jason go way back. What I like about Chryst is he is a BOOTH guy. Wants to see the whole field while he is calling the plays.

When it comes to college football I am:

#1 a PSU fan
#2 A fan of the Big 10
#3 A fan of the Wisconsin program

Who the hell wants to go to Wisconsin except RB's and OL which is what they are known for. Chryst has installed a pro style offense, this is no longer your mom and dads Badgers. They still run the ball but use it to set up the pass and do it very effectively.

Lastly,...I'll tell you guys something right now regarding Chryst....The Badgers have a SUPERIOR coaching staff year in year out, starting with Chryst. Heres why.......The Badgers are a top 20 team in most years, many times top ten. But the recruiting challenges they face are monumental. Lets say you are a stud QB or W.R, whatever the case may be, being recruited by everybody, where you gonna go? The sunny beaches of Florida or the frozen tundra of wisconsin? Add to that they also face the recruiting challenge of HISTORIC teams like Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State within their own conference. Nobody does more...with LESS then Wisconsin does. These guys have a solid plan....THAT WORKS. They turn chicken schitt into chicken soup year in year out. Paul Chryst is a BIG REASON WHY.

LMBO ! About the O line...LOL Those guys are all homegrown too. Lemme tell ya, there are some MAMMOTH good ole corn fed farm boys walking around central Wisconsin. But back to the point....I cant imagine what Chryst could do with the type of Athletes he would have at his disposal in the Pro's. WOW!! Drooling at the thought of it...
