This game is worrying me.

I have no doubt we are a better team. But Washington is coming off a bye, they are rested and have had a lot of time to get ready for us. It is in their house. We also know many times the better team does not win in this rivalry.

Washington will want this very bad, their season depends on it.

We are coming off a very emotional win, and feeling good. We have seen in the past how that has worked for us.

We win this game and we are looking at going 6-3 and 3-0 on this road trip, and the Romo momentum keeps rolling. This would all be very huge!!!!!!!!

If the opposite happens the bricks in this house start crumbling again.

WE NEED THIS ONE BAD! I really hope the team uses last week to make us a better team, to get things rolling, to go into Washington and dominate.

Anything can happen in Divison rivarly road games! :starspin

We're better in every aspect on the field. Yes, division road games can never be overlooked and I still haven't forgotten the 35-7 beatdown they put on us last year with essentially the same team. Keep in mind Portis has a high ankle sprain and Moss has a tender hammy.

If we play mistake free football, play defense like we know we can and keep the crowd out of it, we should win easy. Carolina is a much better team than the Skins but the Skins ALWAYS get up for us and so do their fans.

They are really banged up right now, and it doesn't seem like they practiced much at all during their bye week.

While I hope Big Bill and the Boys take this game VERY seriously... as a fan, I am very confident that we will win and win it convincingly!

I don't think Moss will play... I think Portis and Randle El will try to play but may be limited due to their injuries. Ironically, the one guy that Skins fans WANT to be sitting with an injury -- Brunell -- looks to be the best bet to suit up and play. :D We have to make sure to tell the D-line not to hit him too hard when they sack him so he stays in the game! ;)

All I can hope for is that the same Commanders team that showed up for Jacksonville, shows up Sunday. The way it stands now there is a 2-5 chance of that happening, lol.

I'm sure Portis will play, but Moss being banged up like that is definitely a concern. This is really his first time being hurt with the hammy stuff that plauged him in NY, and back then he ususally missed a game or two so I'll have to assume Moss won't play this weekend. Bonus if he does. Regardless of that the Skins offense really hasn't 'clicked' all year, even with Moss. He had one good game, meanwhile we've struggled to go down the field consistently even with guys like Lloyd and Randle El getting open.

Dallas coming off a big road win puts the Commanders in a situational advantage simply because we need a win more right now, so if THOSE Commanders show up it'll be a long afternoon for the Boys'. If the normal, 2-5 Skins show up and play reactionary defense with no pass rush to speak of, then Romo will pick us apart and TO will score twice, and turn into a very long day for Skins fans.

Anyways, best of luck. Here's to no injuries and may the team who wants it more on Sunday win the game.

:)

I just hope to be able to watch this game here in the NY area. I show the Jets in their bye week, and it looks like the Giants will be on CBS this weekend and FOX has the rights to the Cowboys game. Considering it's Dallas vs Washington thats a good sign, but considering CBS has the double header this week instead of FOX thats a bad sign as they might not show a game during the Giants game since Giants would be the primary local team. Damnit GribbleNation update those damn NFL TV Maps!!!

Portis is listed as having a high ankle sprain. I am having a hard time believing this. If such was the case, he would be out of the game. You don't heal from such an injury so easily.

Well I know the Fox pre-game show will be at FedEx so there's a good chance the game will be headlining in a lot of areas.

I think for the first time in a long time... we come out of the gate and just blast them... we should not let them stay in the game... yeah they will probably be up for the game and emotional but that wont last and we should make sure of that

I am worred about this game. I know we are a better team in every aspect. My concern centers around Romo and the effect of playing 2 in a row, on the road, in a very hostile enviornment. IF he can over come this and have an average to good game,, I really like our chances down the stretch.

We win this one fairly easily. If we don't, it is squarely on BP and the staff.

I think Brunel will not finish the game, and Portis and Moss are injured. We are in a good place to take this one. Not worried.

For Dallas, this game is more about NEEDING the win versus wanting it; for Washington, this game is more about WANTING the win versus needing it.

The Skins are done - so in essence, this is their Super Bowl - their last shot at redemption in a lost season. That's why they want to beat Dallas. For them, victory is not a need because even a win won't change the fact that their season is lost.

Dallas is still alive - so in essence, this is their swing game - a shot at building a foundation for a second-half-season run at the playoffs. That's why they need to beat Washington. For them, victory is necessary, whether they want it or not.

This flat-out sucks, as it means that Buck and Aikman will be calling the game. Isn't our record something like 2 wins and 900 losses when they are in the booth?

We should be worried and I hope our team takes it seriously......I remember a team in 89, could not speal VICTORY.....went to DC and won their only game of the season! Never will forget that.......

I hear ya and would agree in most cases.... Its just that I think we are head and shoulders BETTER above the skins and even the Eagles... it looks like we are gonna start playing to our potential...

I dont think the Skins will be ABLE to get up for this game... maybe emotionally in the beginning a little bit... but the emotion will drain them and then we will beat them down

The Cowboys rarely have problems getting up for the Deadskins and they remember the beatdown they took last year at that stadium. The Cowboys will win this game easily 34-10. I'm more worried about the Arizona game the following week. The game looks like a serious trap game. The team will be weary coming into their third straight road game, looking toward the Colts, and playing against an underperforming team with enough talent to pull a big upset.
