I'm worried about two things, but I'm not sure the Commanders can do either one effectively.

1. Defenses preparing for Romo, disguising schemes and confusing him. Just like with any inexperienced QB.

2. The long pass. With Brunell under center and Moss dinged up, I don't think the 'skins can do that this year. But we wanted Keith Davis replaced last year for a reason.

Actually, I guess I'm worried about one other thing: stupid penalties and mistakes.

If Romo protects the ball, the Cowboys win this one easily.

I remember the beatdown Washington gave us last year and the horrible, sick feeling I had in my gut. What was worse i that I had to go to work right after the game and had to endure crap from n\my co-worker who is a huge Skins fan. :ralph:

We win this one fairly easily. If we don't, it is squarely on BP and the staff.

I think Brunel will not finish the game, and Portis and Moss are injured. We are in a good place to take this one. Not worried.

i can't blame you for not being worried- our D has been swiss cheese-like this year, not to mention moss is said to be walking with a slight limp, portis is dinged and brunell as some rib problem. oh, and your new QB looked pretty darn good on the road sunday night.

this year has been just depressing. the season is on the line. heres to hoping the team realizes that and starts playing like they can.

This flat-out sucks, as it means that Buck and Aikman will be calling the game. Isn't our record something like 2 wins and 900 losses when they are in the booth?

Those two wins had to be against the Commanders! :laugh2: :suxskins:

1989 was a full blown success just because of that. :D

Unless our coaching staff or our players are truly just a bunch of losers who get a lucky game once in a while, this game is in the bank.

Very likely: no MOss, no Portis, no Randall El, or subpar versions of themselves from injuries and not being on the field at all in almost 2 weeks, missing practices.

The young CB, Rogers, is stinking it up on the field, Springs is not in top form, and their other CBs are playing like 4th and 5th CBs.

They are desperate, but pretty much whipped on both sides of the ball.

WE, on the other hand, are running the ball, playing better defense, and should be sky high after last week's win and the optimism that this team could be special and do some serious damage from here on out.

No way we can lose this game, no way.....I'll never turn my back on the Cowboys after 39 years, but if they lose this game, no one who posts on this site will be able to convince me that this team isn't still full of crap or should fire the entire coaching staff. We all thought the Giants game was huge, but at least they were a very good team and we were playing conservatively behind a Qb who couldn't be protected.

The Skins are truly near the bottom of the league, and the Cowboys should have more confidence and more enthusiasm than ever, both by the players and the coaches...No, if we lose this game, this team does not deserve a playoff birth and will need to search deep inside to see where the pathetic failures come from.

You remember we are 6-3 at Fed Ex right?

Not to mention 55-34 overall in the all time matchup.

It's okay to admit it. It heals the pain.

i see, so when skin fans refer to the past, it is stupid and unintelligent. But when 'boyz fans bring up the past, it's dead on right? ;)

Actually, the one that was the sweetest w/ Buck and Aikman was the drubbing of a still healthy Eagles team at Texas Stadium last year (with Owens still unsuspended as well).

It's right because the Cowboys have a past and Hostile pointed it out to you!

Damn, you RedStinks are some really slow people...

Did I discount you bringing up the past? No, I said if you want the truth let's talk the whole truth. What is the truth? Thank you for asking. Since 1960 when we joined the NFL, head to head, one thing is irrefutable. You've landed a few shots, but we are daddy.

Carry on.

The word drubbing and Eagles in the same sentence is music to my ears! :)

This game is worrying me.

I have no doubt we are a better team. But Washington is coming off a bye, they are rested and have had a lot of time to get ready for us. It is in their house. We also know many times the better team does not win in this rivalry.

Washington will want this very bad, their season depends on it.

We are coming off a very emotional win, and feeling good. We have seen in the past how that has worked for us.

We win this game and we are looking at going 6-3 and 3-0 on this road trip, and the Romo momentum keeps rolling. This would all be very huge!!!!!!!!

If the opposite happens the bricks in this house start crumbling again.

WE NEED THIS ONE BAD! I really hope the team uses last week to make us a better team, to get things rolling, to go into Washington and dominate.

Anything can happen in Divison rivarly road games! :starspin
Don't worry yourself. Joe Gibbs gave his lovable little bums 4 days off for good behavior. They're simultaneously overrested, banged up, beaten down, and in denial. They're too dumb to be mad yet. They're still talking about going on another streak and making the playoffs.

St. Gibbs had to give his team 4 days off! They are the oldest team in the leaque for crying out loud!

Those players need time to get their Social Security accounts strightened out and the Metamucil to kick in! Also, Sean "el thuggo" Taylor needed to practice his gun and ATV skills.

Oh, and Gibbs needs time for his Depend Adult Incontience products to come in the mail before he can go back out on the field and just...stare and spit!
