We all remember how many players we lost last season, Armstrong, Pollard, Tyler Biadz, etc etc, and we didn't replace them. History repeats itself, we lose D-law, J Lew, Gholston etc, are we going to complain this year about those players not being replaced, or was it time for them to go???? Please give your thoughts.

The plan is to replace those players thru the draft and also the ones we lost and will lose this year.

We will draft at least 12 new starters. 6 all pros alone.

Just watch and behold in deep submission.

GO JONESES!

It's unfair to leave that responsibility on these rookies! There's going to be a learning curve that some may need more time to develop etc! We're placing too much hope on rookies, but I guess that's what you have to do when paying so much money to players on your roster

NO.

The complain last year is none were replaced. The Cowboys basically sat out FA. More roster holes were created than could be filled in the draft.
I don't expect the team to replace every loss in free agency. Sometimes you have a year where rookie contracts for starters end, and then you're just scheduled to get worse.

But I do expect them to fill big holes with *something*. And they didn't at RB and DT. It's not like it costs half the cap to bring in a decent RB. But they didn't.

In my eyes it was so bad I thought they were sabotaging the team to push Dak to accept a trade. That's the only sense I could make of it.

But no. They apparently sabotaged the team *unwittingly* then went on to extend Dak anyway.

Clown Team.

That was a joke.

We will never be able to find so many starters.
In fact we havent been able to find more then one day-one starter thru the draft in the last recent years.

And remember: Our roster wasnt filled with elite players all over the field. Which would make it harder to find day-one starters.
Mazi or Guyton for instance had to replace players that were medicore backups at best. They werent able to.
Smith wasnt able to beat out an injured and hurting Tyron and since then is banned to a LG spot.

Our desasterous drafts of the last years doesnt give one hope that this is a franchise who is able to build a good team thru the draft.
