If true, you should instead counter what is wrong about the Post with logic, instead of coming out and calling foul. I mean everyone has a right to make a point on here. Both sides say wins are team stats and player stats depending on how it suits them to win arguments on here. I believe the OP sees Rush as nothing more than a backup and pointed out before that he has a noodle arm. I could be wrong and thinking of someone else though.
Actually he called me disingenuous and I replied I think it’s funny he’s doing the same thing he’s accusing me of lol. If you don’t see the agenda behind this thread that’s fine but like I said you have to know his history to see it. It’s not fooling anyone who knows.

anti pro slobbering crowd? :) I'm anti slobbering I must admit.
Anti Pro slobbering are the guys who dislike the Dak slobberers but talk about Dak more than the slobberers do lol. They don’t know if they want to be anti or pro….or up or down lol. Bob Lilly is a prime example…Rush plays well it’s not a good job Rush it’s a Dak sucks lol.

There is this concept known as Poisoning the Well, which applies to debating. Someone is poisoning the well, when they point at somebody, and say that anything he says is invalid because of something he said or did in the past. In essence, discrediting any point someone makes based on his past reputation versus instead of the point he was making. If something is wrong with the idea of what he said, just provide a counter argument to explain why it is wrong.

It wasn’t a debate though lol. He’s not arguing anything. Case in point lol.

Good post.

He is incapable of providing a counter argument without further pushing his pro-Dak agenda.

My stance on Rush has been clear to the non-biased fans on here. He is a decent backup QB, capable of winning games in the league when the starter is out.

There are threads started by other posters that have bashed Rush when he plays poorly, and you will see me in there still defending him.

Not that 2014 season, when DeMarco Murray was tearing up the NFL for 1845 yards. Otherwise, Romo’s career run support was pedestrian at best. The ‘check outs’ weren’t really an issue.
I could be wrong, but I believe Linehan was calling the shots in 2014. The Joneses forced Bill Callahan and Linehan on Garrett and took away his play-calling because he wasn't using the running game enough. I'm not sure what year they experimented with Romo essentially calling the plays, but it was not working well. That doesn't mean he didn't still have a lot of freedom, especially in the two-minute offense, but after they gave him free reign, it was noted how he would check to a pass play too often.

Linehan was and I’m in the minority opinion but I think he got too much flack for the job he did here.

Cooper is a good backup in this league. He lacks arm talent but he is more than serviceable.

We should arguably be 9-3 in his starts
Jerry has yall so brainwashed. He’s pathetic.

Jerry has yall so brainwashed. He’s pathetic. The record of the teams he’s beat is 23-37. He’s only beat one team with a winning record. Let’s not over inflate what he is. He couldn’t get signed anywhere else last year. Not one team wanted him. He can’t throw the ball 30 yards. He’s garbage. .

Has as many wins as the 60 Mil man does this season.

And less loses.

Cooper Rush has been in the league for 8 years. He's a serviceable backup at best and nothing more. I do appreciate his contributions but his name should never be put in the same conversation as Dak or no other starting caliber quarterback.

But Cooper Rush is probably better than all the quarterbacks on YOUR favorite team tho!!

He threw for 44 passing yards in a game and he’s wondering why people think he sucks lol.

cooper > dak ?????

Rush has been in the league for 8 years. Spent alot of time on and off of practice squads. So if you say that Rush is over Dak, why haven't 31 other coaches and GMs felt the same way you do?

Do you believe that you know more about evaluating NFL quarterback talent than 31 other coaches and GMs???

I'll wait...

He just stated that he believes that Rush is doing his job as a backup Quarterback despite his short comings in this thread.
That’s not a debate as a matter of fact most people say he sucks and is a backup. He said he’s a backup who wins games for you and that’s where they’re joke comes in.

Thats the problem. Dak doesn't have enough functioning brain cells to determine what the defense is doing to be able to have freedom to check out of plays. He should be treated like a rookie and not be given freedom. Defenses easily confuse him into wrong plays. I'd rather take noodle arm Rush over brain dead Dak.
Coded.

Here's how this positive Rush thread started

Please explain to me how this is a shot at Dak or his supporters? He isn't mentioned or even alluded to.
There's no mystery to how every single genuinely positive Rush/Dak thread always turn negative. Its because of baited post like the one below, designed only to derail the thread...

(Three post down from the start of this "positive Rush thread". Alot of times its the first post, I guess @MountaineerCowboy was taking a nap)

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/the...cooper-rush-starts-at-qb.530635/post-13947603

Then you see the usual suspects flood in painting everyone "Dak over Dallas" that trys to logically reply to the baited post... and around and around we go until the next "positive" QB thread.

lol.
