You know it’s funny in 2016 no one had a problem with Dak playing out the season after the good start even when TR came back at the end of the season. Jerry saw a way to justify cutting TR and JG was happy with that decision. They had a QB on the cheap and a good team but they knew there was no way Dak was beating out Romo for the starting job, just another bad decision by the FO to protect Dak feelings instead of letting him learn for a year or two behind a good QB.

And why the hell would Russell Wilson do that when he could start for the Steelers? An actual winning organization? Because you guys think highly of the Cowboys doesn’t mean anyone else does lol.

Thinking the same people who like Dak dislike Romo is an interesting and odd take especially since that same poster you are replying to is on record for not liking Romo. But revisionist history is something else isn’t it?

Don't know if he would or wouldn't have but at least would have been worth a try. If nothing else if we had went and signed them for a few million dollars we'd be in a better spot now for sure. But nobody would even consider that because of Daks ego and their own regarding his status as the "clear" franchise qb

HINT: the guy I had in mind was referenced at the beginning of the post I replied to. And if you think that guy was on record as being a Romo fan you're either illiterate or in denial

I don’t think you are thinking this through. You used resources on Lance. Dak was on the last year of his contract. Russell signed a one year prove it deal to rejuvenate his career that took a dive. So I get your hindsight thinking here but not sure it’s actually realistic.
