This loyalty crap went out the window for me when free agency started. These players are in it for the money so are the owners. Yes Jerry is a problem but don't let that fool you, it's been Jayden Daniels that has turned that franchise around. Without him they would have been one and done and probably not even made the playoffs. The Cowboys are a DISGRACE! I have no other words to describe how FURIOUS I am at Jerry and this franchise. I'm a loyal fan, and I won't ditch. That said, I am FURIOUS. Absolutely furious. We have the worst franchise in the conference. Our former DC just took a division rival into the NFCC in ONE year before got there in 30 years.
I'm sorry for those of you that don't like this, but I need to vent. Please, let me vent. I have to get my thoughts on this DISGRACEFUL situation we are in out. This thread is a safe space for those of you who would also like to vent about this franchise and what Jerry has done to it. I will now continue my venting and rant. I have to share my thoughts as a separate thread.
Jerry, you are a disgrace. You are an idiot. You suck! You don't know what you're doing. Think about this. There has never been a rookie QB to take a team to the SB. The COMMANDERS, who just changed owners in 2023 and are coached by OUR DC and have SEVERAL players with the Cowboys LAST SEASON. Jerry, YOU are the problem. It's not the coaches. It's not the players. It's YOU. It's embarrassing to see that the COMMANDERS changed owners and are back while JERRY is counting his money and taking the team to the Forbes Bowl. It's gross. The best thing I can say is it's a DISGRACE.
Seriously, is there a way to get Jerry to force sell like Washington did? I'm disgusted BECAUSE it's my team. The Cowboys are my team, and that won't change for me. But that said, this is DISGUSTING. I am DISGUSTED at Jerry.
Anyone else want to add in your vents and frustrations?
Yep. Just like Dallas in 2007 & 2016.Off subject, but it must suck for Detroit to lose in the 1st round after earning the bye. Kind of feel bad for Detroit fans. Ah football gods are fickle.
Fixed. And happy for those who lit out for a real franchise….On the bright side, a bunch of ex-Cowboys are finally going to a championship game!
That is the life of a Dallas fan, we have to live vicariously through our former players. I'm sure its just as rewarding as having a good team... I can't remember how that feels.Fixed. And happy for those who lit out for a real franchise….
you going to be relieved when Washington and/or Philadelphia SURPASS our number of SB wins? I'm not, I'm going to be sick.Well how do you want it Rusty?
If we kept Quinn he would’ve been in the position Mike was in
Also you’re going to be furious when Big Mike goes to the nfc/afc title game next season
I actually feel relieved…..Washington making it this far was always a nightmare for me, the nightmare happened it’s over it’s done …..I can move forward
if we had built wooden tanks and sailing ships to take them on afterwards, it would have been, yes.Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
seeing the big picture is seeing how this team has been ruined, how we use to be a great team, now falling to nothing.... that's a sign of maturity. Seeing the big picture, and realizing you don't have control. We roll with changes.
Gene picked out the art. But, but, but....the stadium.
Well at least they have made a Title game appearance in the last 30 years.Hey crybabies, if the Cowboys are a disgrace, what are the Lions?
Disappointment is kind of a personal thing. They are still playing and that is sport as well. You are a better fan than me Rusty. You, the Marathon guy and any/all 30 somethings and below fans are more loyal than I could be.
That's because I have a reference point and foundation of Cowboys fandom that began in the 70s and showed its excellence again in the 90s.
All you have is a Quincy to Romo to Dak accumulation of memories along with the likes of Campo and Garrett leading the team along.
My hats off to ya man for that kinda loyalty.
At the very least I'll always have the memories.
But I genuinely doubt that you may never taste what it means to be a fan of a champion while being owned by this family.
Sorry man.
Wait until MM get behind a team with money and a good GM.
You do have the right word for it - DISGUSTING. And about to get worse if its the SKINS and IGGLES in the NFC championship game this year.
I agree with you its head spinning to think that this team had their owner forced out. Have all these issues to go through and they now have passed us by as we stagnate - as usual. We are the third best team and organization now in the division.
Thank you GIANTS for still not being able to get your act together.
That's why I'm saying, just you watch. If he gets with the Bears, they'll be in an NFCC game before we get to one.
