The Cowboys are a Disgrace!

It’s a little late to be angry at Jerry just because you see 2 NFC East teams in the Conference title game, knowing one of them is going to the SB. Where was the anger at Jerry constantly saving money and reducing playmakers on offense and defense? This team over performed during the three recent 12 win seasons, and that was obvious when they played the best teams, regular season and playoffs. So how did he respond to a poor defense and an offense without enough playmakers? He let 2 starting OLmen leave in free agency, replacing them with rookies. He let his second most explosive guy on offense, Pollard, walk without any replacement. He did nothing at WR when we could all see that Lamb was the only true NFL caliber receiver and that we had the worst receiving group in the division. He let player after player on defense walk out the door, DTs, DEs, and replacing most of them with rookies.

It’s not coaching; it’s not effort on the field. It’s a roster that still can’t stop the run, can’t run the ball against better teams, and has no playmakers of offense to help Lamb. The roster is BAD…..period. Jerry expects to win a championship with 1 receiver, 1 pass rusher, 1 special teams returner, a great kicker, and an above average QB who cannot succeed without 2-3 playmakers.

We’ve had very good teams. 2006, 2007, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2021-23

but the playoff failures have been a mix of bad coaching, dropped field goals, replays (Dez), and just bad football.

In none of those years were they close to a championship. You actually have to win multiple games in the playoffs. Thats the problem with this team, they simply can’t handle pressure, there’s always an excuse, they always find a way to lose in embarrassing fashion and the gm is absolute garbage!

We have the worst franchise in the conference. Our former DC just took a division rival into the NFCC in ONE year before got there in 30 years.

This thread is a safe space for those of you who would also like to vent about this franchise and what Jerry has done to it. I will now continue my venting and rant. I have to share my thoughts as a separate thread.

Jerry, you are a disgrace. You are an idiot. You suck! You don't know what you're doing. Think about this. There has never been a rookie QB to take a team to the SB. The COMMANDERS, who just changed owners in 2023 and are coached by OUR DC and have SEVERAL players with the Cowboys LAST SEASON. Jerry, YOU are the problem. It's not the coaches. It's not the players. It's YOU. It's embarrassing to see that the COMMANDERS changed owners and are back while JERRY is counting his money and taking the team to the Forbes Bowl. It's gross. The best thing I can say is it's a DISGRACE.

Seriously, is there a way to get Jerry to force sell like Washington did? I'm disgusted BECAUSE it's my team. The Cowboys are my team, and that won't change for me. But that said, this is DISGUSTING. I am DISGUSTED at Jerry.

Only venting on my part is that some fans need to get a grip. It's a game and business that none of us can do anything about. When I was your age, I was out and about the town, having a blast with my family and friends or walking the sidelines coaching or scouting for a paycheck. That's what pisses me off....people getting consumed by this and wasting their time venting. GET A LIFE!

It's not so much that. I do have a lot of good things going on, and football really isn't that important. That said, this is my team, and I'm angry with Jerry because of how disgracefully he's run the team.

You are right. It's the ownership and the GM, not the Boy's. You've got to be happy for DQ and MM. They both knew when to get the hell out and the next one up will find similar results as well and go running into the night. For now, we'll have to put up with this "all in" .... , as ugly as that sounds.

The Red skins are in the NFC championship game this year, but the last 30 years has been a MUCH more miserable experience for their fanbase than ours.
