My big thing is the mystery of the missing pass rush these last few games.
It seemed like QB pressure/sacks was the one thing that you could hang your hat on and say good things about this team this year.
Now that it's gone AND the secondary is playing poorly AND the run defense is still...
Well...
Yeah it ain't shaping up to be too much defensive support down this stretch run.

but couch we are a top 5 or better defense? until we are NOT.....it really hurt us to lose Hankins at 1-tech...our D line play has regressed....every team knows they can run on us to set up the pass and stop our run make Dak beat them

so Dak has to regroup and beat their behinds.....it just really hurts to lose 2 games this year we had in bag....green bay and this one.....we should be 12-2...not 10-4...but our D-line play is not good until the DC

if somehow some way can find an adjustment...i heard pretty good chance we get Hankins back for playoffs....by then we might be 7th seed?.....can we have a majic carpet ride like 2011 Giants and 2017 Sheagles?

No excuses. But Cowboys are really banged up and it’s showing. Missing a total of 7 starters, 6 on defense. This defense is a shell of what it was 6 weeks ago. And despite the offense putting up lots of points, the pass protection has been well below standards.

They should’ve won this game for sure. But it’s also other factors like the crazy, unpredictable NFL always has:

• The mighty chiefs struggled in Hou against the Texans, winning in OT.
• The eagles struggled for 55 min against the 3-10 bears.
• The jags have won 3 of 4 and have clearly surged under rising super star Trevor Lawrence.

Again, this team should have won. But there are zero cupcakes in this league.

- Anthony brown wasn't the best ... but Joseph is the worst .. Benched

- LVE wasn't the best ,, but Barr is worse ..

- And our Defense despite all of the frequent rotations ... looks tired and worn down.

.. we have very average DTs.. We had more RBs tackled for loss . than what we had vs Jax RBs ..

- i thought we'd see more.. much more from DLaw, Williams and Fowler, where's that NFL leading sack unit ?

- Only thing is Trevor did not run for monster yards as we usual struggled vs Mobile running QBs

But not only the rushing yards (as ET ha 109 yrds) ...but the " Misdirection " plays and the team that excel at it .. we really struggle against that kind of style plays .. it kills us !!

The defense was totally schooled by Lawrence and Pederson.

To be fair, Pederson once schooled a Bill Belichick defense in the SB.

He is a great coach.

As I posted before the game, Jones and Kirk kill the Cowboys. With no pass rush, they killed us pretty badly too.

But this defense was down 6 starters at one point. The pass coverage was disappointing to say the least. But with 2 starting CBs out and no pass rush we can expect similar results every week. Someone on this defense needs to step up with all the injuries.

we have enough wins to make playoffs.....i think our only chance....is like 2011 Giants who started 6-6 finished 9-7 and beat Brady again with miraculous catch from receiver.....what does it do to team

confidence and chemistry when you blow big leads and lose like Green Bay and this one.....Dak use to rarely throw INT's......plus all the injuries?...2010 Green Bay had huge slew of injuries and won SB

but Dak aint Rogers....but all Hope is not lost until all Hope is gone...we still have a shot

You do make an excellent point at the end. We keep signing WRs when the offense is scoring plenty of points now. And I like Noah. If they sign OBJ, Noah won't ever been on the field on offense, I don't like that - he deserves better. What we do need is a damn CB, not a WR, I agree with you.
