I have not seen the Cowboys rushing stats but at one point they had 104 on 29 attempts which is 3.5 avg.

No excuses. But Cowboys are really banged up and it’s showing. Missing a total of 7 starters, 6 on defense. This defense is a shell of what it was 6 weeks ago. And despite the offense putting up lots of points, the pass protection has been well below standards.

They should’ve won this game for sure. But it’s also other factors like the crazy, unpredictable NFL always has:

• The mighty chiefs struggled in Hou against the Texans, winning in OT.
• The eagles struggled for 55 min against the 3-10 bears.
• The jags have won 3 of 4 and have clearly surged under rising super star Trevor Lawrence.

Again, this team should have won. But there are zero cupcakes in this league.

all legitimate points but even when healthy the rushing defense was going to be our Achilles heel. Like others have said” all that matters is the playoffs” so there’s still that.

I’m not going to point to Daks interceptions because his offense scored enough for a win. The perfect storm of a rising Trevor Lawrence and a declining Dallas defense occurred. The difference is that the Jaguars showed more heart and earned their win

Been saying it since the end of the game, the defense has fallen apart and is a shell of what it was earlier in the season. Can’t recall a unit regressing as much as the Cowboys defense has the last couple of weeks. It went from close to an elite unit a few weeks ago to a complete joke. Granted we’ve had a number of injuries on defense, but the replacements haven’t stepped up.
