Usually, I'm excited after the games. This year, it left me with a sick feeling.

Yeah, know what you saying. Especially Overshown, But that was a freakish injury. Didn't really see how Stephens got hurt. But the show must go on.

Outside of Vaughn, tolbert, and Dowdle this TC and preseason has been an absolute disaster.

Losing Overshown was a huge blow and watching Mazi has been horrible.

It can take a full year for a player to return to form after an ACL, if they do return to form. Both Stephens and Overshown may not look the same until year three. They were both developing nicely, and this is going to set them back.

This team is stupid. Dak Prescott is a regressing QB that needs all the reps he can possibly get and he doesn’t even sniff the field. This is the same fourth round QB that lead the league in INTs last year and didn’t even play a whole season.

I just don’t get it, same dumb formula same dumb results year after year after year.

I was impressed with Stephens and I know how high some were on him based on one preseason game but I don’t think he had much of a chance to even make the 53 man roster. Would have been nice if he kept developing though and now he has to start all over next year.

Stephens was going to be a project and I really was mostly hoping he'd be fit in the roster to avoid him going to waivers. I wish he had a true redshirt year but overall he can get healthy and another look later with no real loss to the season. I think the Cowboys have their top 3 TE's.

Overshown though, totally disappointing. I think he'd have taken a lot of time from Kearse as the season went along. The guy had the capability of contributing right away.

Both still have a bright future ahead though. Just sad to see them gone in preseason.

But, I mean, would any of us have felt better if either one was lost in the first quarter of the season opener? The dice fall where they fall.
