We already bubble wrapped most of the starters. Someone has to suit up for these preseason games.

I don't care what your name is and how long you have been in the league. Every player must suit up and play a few snaps in preseason if you are healthy. Entitled losers breeds entitled losers. Only guys who get a pass are Dlaw Tyron Martin Pollard and 11. The rest of the roster is replaceable.

Come on folks, it's horrible, but it happens.
We'll discover other players and next year we'll have people to trade as we are light-years better at acquiring talent.
Now when they say next man up....there is one. These guys will come back more dedicated and hungrier than ever

Overshown has tremendous potential— BUT he is simply a role player at this time. At best— your 3rd LB in specific packages and formations.

Between Cox and Harper (or a FA TBD), or a clever deployment of Kearse, Wilson, Thomas, Bell etc… we should be able to recover just fine from losing Overshown.

This injury hurts his growth and development— which sucks— but as far as an on field impact— I think it will be relatively minimal.

Stephens is a developmental TE. Nothing more at this time.

The sky is not falling.

Outside of Vaughn, tolbert, and Dowdle this TC and preseason has been an absolute disaster.

Losing Overshown was a huge blow and watching Mazi has been horrible.
Not to mention how they've been highlighting for all of us to clearly see the putrid backup offensive line players. That's a disaster by itself. LOL

I hear that but I have never seen the truth in it. I think the truth is in order to succeed you have to be brave and there very much so is such a thing as appropriate fear.
That's really not what playing scared is about. It has nothing to do w/ fear. It's about not taking chances, pulling up on tackles, trying to stay out of plays. Quite often, if a player is "playing scared", that is what causes them to get injured.

True. And that's why they're playing them, to see who will stay on the team. Our starters are already set, now we're just throwing crapp against the wall to see what sticks.

Looks like Asim can play. Farniok unexpectedly did will at C, but I don't believe in him.

I don't like our backups and I'm thinking this is the start to replacing them. Goooo, MM, get us some better backups for the OL!!!

I think very coach has their philosophy on risk management versus benefit. It's hard to figure out what is the right call, and typically I would expect the coaching staff to get together to make a collective judgment based on the decisions you want to make.

Actually, I believe Isaiah land is being talked about as a possible replacement he's got that potential you remember Armstrong came from a small school with all those big numbers...

Isaiah lands the same type of player, he could probably be Overshown if he's developed correctly.. Everyone who keeps calling Kearse, Wilson ,Thomas, or bell a linebacker even though they're safeties who can play some hybrid linebacker,

they are not linebackers and that's why they're not listed as linebackers. Overshown was more like Micah Parsons and can play off the ball linebacker as well as defensive end and whatever hybrid positions you might want them to play... that's a big difference having a linebacker be able to play safety as big difference from safety to linebacker when you need to have some off the ball guys that can do different things..

Some of the feedback I'm getting from fans who know this kid who seen him play in preseason so far, he's being left out when he should be being talked about as possibly having more potential than Cox and maybe similar to Overshown.. Next up

it could be Isaiah land, mark that name down..

I hope so because even the home radio/tv guys in Dallas can't put lipstick on the pig anymore. They struggle to say any of them look like they can even play if needed. Maybe the 5th round pick they got? That's about it.

I get it but injuries are gonna happen. Could’ve happen at practice.
That's the truth people keep blaming the turf for the game and whatnot I've seen guys have these contact and non contact injuries on grass in practice guys like Sean Lee that had nothing to do with the turf that was on a practice field on grass it happens all around the league and I realize that turf can be sticky but these players been playing on things similar like this all through high school and college and it's been around a long time and it's been improved and I realize it might create a few more injuries but injuries just simply happen..

And I agree. We need better backups on the OL. I feel as if Asim could be a move in that direction. Previously, KMo was leading the O, so I doubt MM had a lot to say about OL player acquisition. I think that changes now.

Two young players needing and wanting the work, could have happened at practice.

Don’t know much about Land other than he is UDFA and has been having a decent PS in terms of pressuring the QB.

Hopefully he takes advantage of this opportunity
