The offense doesn’t look as good on paper is it has the past couple of seasons. We led the league in total offense last season, no way do I see that happening this season. The receiving corp isn’t as good, Zeke is another year older and there’s too many questions on the OL. Maybe the offense will be better than it appears we’ll just have to see. Even as good as the offense was last season we had issues scoring TDs in the red zone. We had to settle for too many FG attempts and with the uncertainty surrounding our kicker situation that could result in a serious problem this season.

Sorry but he’s not an every down back. He can’t push the pile in short yardage situations. Sometimes when he tries bouncing outside he takes a negative carry. If you take away some of his long runs he averaged well under 4 yards a carry. In a critical game against Philly a couple of years ago he took a loss on a third and short. Everyone was hating on him after the game. He may get more opportunities this season but he’s not a bell cow. Some of you won’t be convinced of that unless Zeke gets injured and we have to start him for several weeks.

Put him in the slot in short yardage and play Zeke.

You move him around. He’s the key cog to this outside of Dak

I’m fine with that but Zeke still needs to be the primary back because he’s a great blocker. Zeke is still capable of pushing the pile for 80 yards. He picks up a lot of dirty yards between the tackles.

#1 offense in the NFL last year, based on yards and points.

We don’t have an elite starting RB or an elite receiving corps. Our OL is good but no longer elite.

Hmm... so how on Earth will the anti-Dakkers pretend Dak isn’t the primary reason for our inevitable offensive success in 2022?????

Those mouth-breathers better start coming up with their alibis now.

“B-B-BUT ANYONE COULD LIGHT IT UP WITH KELLEN MOORE AS THEIR OC!!!”

I am excited to see the offence and the defense next year.
With the loss of talent on both sides of the ball, will others step up ?
It's going to be compelling drama!

I'm actually looking forward more to see how the defense plays.

Hoping the continuity of almost all the same starters and Quinn being back for a second season will make them an elite defense.

To me it all depends on the Oline.

IF Smith can play....14 games(being generous).
Can Steele be a totally solid 17 game starter at RT.
Will Biadasz show improvement in handling the stronger nose/1 techs.
Can the rookie LG make the smooth transition from weak college comp to NFL to include lesser penalties.
Martin still good at this point.

Are the current backups good enough to provide adequate spot play or will there be obvious fall off a cliff decline in the absence of any starter.

I'd start there before ever getting to the OC, QB, RB and WRs.

If the trench is solid, it's funny how everything else seems to fall in place.
