Imagine someone DARING to be optimistic! Someone who is gullible enough to think we have a chance, who WANTS to watch these Cowboys play and enjoy the experience! Preposterous!

I expect that every time I post on this board and that's actually what powers it. I am completely fine with that and appreciate you being cordial about it.

It’s easy to be cordial when you have a full snifter, a good cigar, and female company…

I agree, OP. Why on earth does anyone want to start pre-season thinking their team is going to stink? I'm expecting a deep playoff run, and won't change that optimistic view until proven wrong

I can only remember 3 offenses being must see TV. The Fouts led Chargers, 80's Niners and Greatest Show on Turf.

Don't the Cowboys get enough coverage without any hype needed?

Don't worry, I agree with you. Other than a few 1 hit wonders, I do remember them getting a lot of hype. I also remember the Cowboys stomping the Chargers in the 1980 regular season. A team thought by some to be the best in the league. They kept it close for about a half. Until Dallas picked off Fouts about 50 times and went on a scoring tear.

I don't know how it's gonna be better than last year .. unless Pollard gets more involved

i don’t see our WR being near what it was last year…now sans a probowl er aka best route runner in the game and another top guy coming off an ACL….

The offense doesn’t look as good on paper is it has the past couple of seasons. We led the league in total offense last season, no way do I see that happening this season. The receiving corp isn’t as good, Zeke is another year older and there’s too many questions on the OL. Maybe the offense will be better than it appears we’ll just have to see. Even as good as the offense was last season we had issues scoring TDs in the red zone. We had to settle for too many FG attempts and with the uncertainty surrounding our kicker situation that could result in a serious problem this season.

On paper taking Cooper out of the equation looks like a step back for the offense. There are some questions along the offensive line, but think there's more upside with the addition of Smith and hopefully the coaches fixing blocking schemes and penalities.

Taking Cooper out of the offense is a step back. Losing Cedrick Wilson is another step back. This entire offseason has been a step back.

#1 offense in the NFL last year, based on yards and points.

We don’t have an elite starting RB or an elite receiving corps. Our OL is good but no longer elite.

Hmm... so how on Earth will the anti-Dakkers pretend Dak isn’t the primary reason for our inevitable offensive success in 2022?????

Those mouth-breathers better start coming up with their alibis now.

“B-B-BUT ANYONE COULD LIGHT IT UP WITH KELLEN MOORE AS THEIR OC!!!”
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Lol, or having Jason Garrett as the HC in his first 4 seasons.

"Must-see TV" seems a good way to describe the interest that our offense will be likely to engender this year. It should certainly prove highly intriguing to see how the new version of this offense can replace the WRs who will be missing in 2022. The performance of this new group of receivers will have a big impact upon the level of this team's success during the regular season. Many adjustments will be forthcoming in our passing attack.

Will Dak be able to adapt to helping to make them successful? Will the new WRs be able to make Dak successful, as well? What about our running attack? Will Zeke be able to rebound successfully? How well will the newly revised OL serve to improve our running game in 2022? These are questions that will be of interest to all of us, as fans.

Here are the question marks:
RT
LG
C
On the O line added to questions of how healthy will Tyron be.
Not exactly must see TV there. To expect positive answers to all means you are a mouth breather.

Will Zeke rebound? Will Cee Dee step up?
Will Dak return to form?
Will Moore get his head out of his ***?

Too many for me to be all that optimistic.

I don't see it. I can see our offense being pretty good, but must see TV is way over the top. Absolutely no reason for that. Our offense don't look any better than half the league let alone must see. Maybe it's a must see due to all of the question marks you've pointed out.

Whether it's "must see" or not depends largely upon the enthusiasm of the individual fan. Being a Dallas Cowboys enthusiast, it could be said that it's truly must see for me. There are lots of questions to be answered in the TC and regular season that are to follow in due time. I'm anxiously awaiting the answers to these questions, in the hopes that this team pleases me somewhat more than it might not.
