The offense doesn’t look as good on paper is it has the past couple of seasons. We led the league in total offense last season, no way do I see that happening this season. The receiving corp isn’t as good, Zeke is another year older and there’s too many questions on the OL. Maybe the offense will be better than it appears we’ll just have to see. Even as good as the offense was last season we had issues scoring TDs in the red zone. We had to settle for too many FG attempts and with the uncertainty surrounding our kicker situation that could result in a serious problem this season.

I do think the line could be better without Williams and his penalties, but there are certainly question marks there. If Tyron can stay healthy for at least 13 games and Tyler proves to be the missing link, we could see quite an improvement there. Of course, I'm of the opinion that Biadasz can be an adequate center and there wasn't much of a drop-off, if any, from Collins to Steele.

A lot has to go right, though, which is a consistent theme for this team.

I can only remember 3 offenses being must see TV. The Fouts led Chargers, 80's Niners and Greatest Show on Turf.

Don't the Cowboys get enough coverage without any hype needed?

Sorry but he’s not an every down back. He can’t push the pile in short yardage situations. Sometimes when he tries bouncing outside he takes a negative carry. If you take away some of his long runs he averaged well under 4 yards a carry. In a critical game against Philly a couple of years ago he took a loss on a third and short. Everyone was hating on him after the game. He may get more opportunities this season but he’s not a bell cow. Some of you won’t be convinced of that unless Zeke gets injured and we have to start him for several weeks.

Why do we need a bell cow? Who said we need Pollard to be a Bell cow? Why would you take away all of Pollard big plays? LOL

Assuming the OL penalties reduce that should improve the situation but there’s still a lot of questions. With the way things have been going for Tyron I would take 13 games right now and be happy with it. We may be lucky to get 13 games out of him.

I don't care about yards and stats. There are times when you want to slow the game down and there are times you need to move the chains. Lets see if Moore can handle that first.

I think the defense is going to steal the show.

All those rookies from last year will be much improved going into their 2nd season. The defensive tackle position will be solidified with Gallimore, Osa, Watson, Hill, Ridgeway, Golston and Bohamma competing just to make the team.

The safety position used to be a weak position on the defense, now it will be one of the strongest.
Most importantly will be the return of Quinn to provide continuity and stability to the defensive system.

Micah will be DPOY.

It's gonna be must see alright if they don't sign a capable veteran OT.

That may be true. He did have kind of an unlucky injury, though, last year to his ankle that caused him to miss some time. We know the back issues are not going to go away, though.

Well get at least that but he’ll play hurt and less effective but when healthy he’s still good

He’s got a good contract so I see why he’s still a team favorite but I hope his replacement comes soon

I’m more concerned bout center spot

Good points. I agree. Wouldn’t it be great if once in our lives everything came together for this team?! It’s been forever.

Everything came together a few times in my life but I have to go back to the 70s and 90s.

Put him in the slot in short yardage and play Zeke.

You move him around. He’s the key cog to this outside of Dak
Pollard, maybe Washington, are about the only weapons on offense that have the ability to move a defense around, and thats still an unknown at this point.
We better hope we find out who is who in this camp, there needs to be some playmakers step up including CD for this offense to improve.
Its early, so we shall see, but this offense isn't feared around the league by Defensive coordinators until proven otherwise.
