Whether it's "must see" or not depends largely upon the enthusiasm of the individual fan. Being a Dallas Cowboys enthusiast, it could be said that it's truly must see for me. There are lots of questions to be answered in the TC and regular season that are to follow in due time. I'm anxiously awaiting the answers to these questions, in the hopes that this team pleases me somewhat more than it might not.

As a Cowboys fan I have to agree. But I'm usually very excited following a good year.

I agree, OP. Why on earth does anyone want to start pre-season thinking their team is going to stink? I'm expecting a deep playoff run, and won't change that optimistic view until proven wrong

Is it so difficult to be realistic? Why be too far one way or the other? Why be disappointed?

Imagine someone DARING to be optimistic! Someone who is gullible enough to think we have a chance, who WANTS to watch these Cowboys play and enjoy the experience! Preposterous!
Shame on you Cowboy Fan.

Beginning of the season ... "Watch the offense this year. It's gonna be fi-yah!!!!"
End of the season ... "Our defense just wasn't good enough."

Unfortunately, I'm not going to change this late in the game. I'd rather hope for success rather than expect failure. Go Cowboys

They should be good. If the OL improves and Moore isn’t terrible it should be a top 5 group.

Nothing to do with hoping. We all hope. It’s about realistic expectations.

The offense doesn’t look as good on paper is it has the past couple of seasons. We led the league in total offense last season, no way do I see that happening this season. The receiving corp isn’t as good, Zeke is another year older and there’s too many questions on the OL. Maybe the offense will be better than it appears we’ll just have to see. Even as good as the offense was last season we had issues scoring TDs in the red zone. We had to settle for too many FG attempts and with the uncertainty surrounding our kicker situation that could result in a serious problem this season.
@PAPPYDOG could you please explain This Enigma for the 1 millionth time . . . You and I have been explaining why for the last 6 years but some people just dont understand the problem

No hope for these Dak zombies and wait till the debacle of this coming season is over as it will be business as usual for them here with their usual excuses for inepto Dak in our lovely forums.
Laugh and laugh hard as this is the only thing one can do with these Dak poets!!!

from a fantasy football article about how quarterbacks are being valued so far in drafts but it summarizes nicely the challenges this offense will face at the receiver position. (ie, even though they project Lamb a stud, I think most of us view him as needing to be prove himself as the primary target)

Dak Prescott appears to be the drop-off at quarterback. He comes off a season with a career-high in touchdowns (38), but the Cowboys’ wide receiving corps doesn’t have the same luster as in years past, at least on paper. Dallas has depth at running back, and CeeDee Lamb projects to be a stud with an improved opportunity this year. Dalton Schultz continues to show growth at tight end. Ultimately, Prescott needs Michael Gallup to regain his form after suffering a torn ACL and Jalen Tolbert to become relevant in his rookie season.
