I think the players know they cannot succeed with Dak at quarterback, and are playing with that in mind.
Sure, they like winning, but with no easy teams on the schedule like they have grown accustomed to over the past 13 seasons, they can't pad theirrecord with wins against those weak teams.
Therefore I think they are beat before they walk on the field.
I think Jerry's extension of Dak rubbed the lack of accountability in their faces, and they are just making the best of it at this point.
no, that's your opinion, because you actually do not have access to any of the players or anyone in the organization.
your opinion is forming what you think and your comments, without any evidence, in fact the evidence says otherwise.
you have no clue what so ever.
because there are 10 other QBs who are handed 50M and 55M contracts. more than half of them are average QBs. are all those teams doing bad? and having Moral issues.

is the Running game problems due to morale? please explain.

but, you are looking for attention as always. we are giving it to you, but you are being made the village fool and you are eating it up. loving the attention.

Oh look - another leeblair post where he finds more ways to blame Dak for EVERYTHING that's wrong with the Cowboys. So, while Dak absolutely sucked Sunday (and has quite a few times this year), what does he have to do with Donovan Wilson getting absolutely TOASTED by Kittle all night? Or, what does he have to do with the 49er's 3rd string RB gashing the D? Is that because of moral? Have you talked to any of these players you think you know how they are feeling? I'm betting you absolutely do NOT watch any tape after these games. Starting to think quite a few guys don't watch any tape (as my coaches always told me - the Tape Don't Lie).
oh look - another JeffinDc post where he absolves Dak of any and all blame ! He just bought Dak's cologne ( for the nights when you dont want to get laid ) and wont stand for any bad Dak talk !

What isn't being said is showing up large.

I don't think the players wanted Dak re-signed. After last season's blowout loss to the Packers I believe the players saw once and for all what Dak's ceiling was. They can't say it publicly without being crucified, but I believe that they are/were hoping for a change that didn't come. And now they know the next four to six years are lost.
They are human and they know what's going on.
And it shows on the field.
Jerry finished off the Cowboys when he re-signed Dak to that insane contract.
We just flushed the next 4 years
Signing as average QB to a record contract.
Worst signing in team history.

So OBVIOUSLY you can't read. I stated Dak sucked and has a lot this year. How is that absolving him of blame? Yeah, the education system in our country is failing when people can't read what is actually in front of them and decide to create a completely different narrative. Once again, it's obvious that if you see all the issues with this team BESIDES the poor QB play (AGAIN, he's playing like crap), your labeled a Dak Stan. Thank God for all the folks out there that provide actual video analysis of what's going on with this team. And, if I bought the cologne, it's because I realized all the women in your family were stank and, yeah, I didn't wanna smash any of 'em.

They’re toast for the next 4 years.

The core players prime years will be added to the piles of wasted primes before them because of bad contracts to players not worth them.
Is there any chance we have a few players who still put championships ahead of money and would want out? Maybe some of them sitting out to demand a trade would put more pressure on the idiot in charge????????

several players left with dan quinn, and now they are 6-2.
So when offered an out players take it to get out of this org.

They have better chances with another good team.
Those players didnt leave for more $ they went with a coach they liked and to a team not run by the jones boys.

What the op said is logical, and is just his OPINION.
It isnt blaming dak, just stating that maybe players didnt want him resigned ,and even more to a mega deal like dak got.

some players are stupid, so they might cheer dak got another bag and a big one., but the smart ones know that means less $ for
them, and anyone else like say derrick henry.

Jerry is making it clear, I am giving mega deals to my favorite stars, and I am going to low ball the rest of you clowns, just be
happy you have a job.

And if the players like dak but dont like the way he is playing, then why should they bust A when they are not going to be able to beat playoff teams.

And that isnt all on dak , it is jones boys, and rest of team and coaches, all of that could affect morale to create a hey why bother attitude.

Even many here say jerry isnt going to try and win, this year is a classic example, so just show up do your job good enough, and collect your check.

Dak and his ridiculous contract is a big part of all that though.

The worst thing Jerry did was keep a lameduck staff.....established pro athletes won't go to battle for a lameduck staff. The quit at the first sign of trouble. Wasted year.
