The Cowboys should sit Zeke

I tend to agree. But I am not totally in the don't pay a RB. Just don't pay them ridiculous money. I realize Henry got injured. But up until that point he is worth every penny.

We will see if Henry returns to form after injury. That’s the biggest issue with running backs. So often then get hurt and then they’re never the same or it leads to a mountain of nagging injuries.

Really? I wish WE all could sit in the film room today and count the missed blocks.

LOL, it’s amazing you guys watch games and conclude there is nothing wrong with Zeke and it’s all the OL s fault.

He’s not getting cut. You have to take an additional $11 million cap charge if you cut him after the season. You save zero dollars against the cap if you designate him a June 1 cut.

Who concluded nothing is wrong with Zeke? We all know he is injured. It's amazing you completely changed the narrative. You think our OL, as a whole, is playing good?

He’s more than injured. He simply is not the same back he was back his rookie year. Even to start this season when healthy he just lacked the explosion he had back as a rookie.

The injury has just made this more pronounced. IMO the Cowboys will dump him after 2022.

i agree, the team will release him to save money. That's been obvious, and they're milking him dry by refusing to allow healing, even BEFORE Pollard got injured. BTW, has the OL play regressed over the years? I got it though......you simply want him out and that will probably be accommodated soon, and then onto the next player you feel should be out. Got it.

So we're definitely cutting him in the offseason right?

I wrote the following 30 months ago.

And for 30 months Zeke hasn't been special. In fact he hasn't even been our best RB. In any case no matter your feelings he certainly has not been what we paid him.

Look...I always knew i'd be right. That was obvious. But we have a chance this year to go deep in the playoffs. We can't keep giving zeke all these touches if we want to get where we need to be.

We have to scale back his touches. He's worse than a JAG because he's taking opportunities from better players. Sucks man.

On the bright side...very happy the Giants drafted Barkley. LOL
I'm glad you are so proud of yourself for being right......LOL.....that's what wrong with many fans nowadays.....they say a player sucks and are happy when he does as opposed to hoping he doesn't suck!

Zeke had over 50 yards. That’s a big game for him now.
He’s running with a brace on his leg with shared snaps and oline doing personnel changes mid game (which doesn’t make sense to me) as well as no Tyron with Connor starting in the lineup again ; we’re your expectations 100+? Idk

Sorry but Zeke's contract is designed so he can be cut after the 2022 season. He's not going anywhere until then.

I think Zeke should be our short yardage specialist and extra pass blocker on passing downs. Those are his strengths and he still has value there.

I have zero interest in trying to run the offense through him or to involve him in the passing game. Pollard should be getting the lions share 60:40 or 70:30 over Zeke now.

Zeke is a great pass protector. He's a great short yardage guy. I think we need to limit him and save him. He and pollard work well together.

If it’s us paying a boatload for a TB, yeah, I will want him out too. It’s not about Zeke. It’s about the position. I think it’s foolish in today’s NFL to use premium picks and oodles of cap space on TBs. Almost every team ends up regretting or not getting the return in high investments in TBs.

How'd you feel when TRomo got all his money?

It is entirely self inflicted. He isn't anywhere close to the same athlete that he was. He got paid and got fat and lazy. It is obvious to everyone except blind homers and his mom.

I agree. The only hesitation I have is he might have felt, and might even have been told, that he needed to put on weight to withstand the workload he gets.

How do you think the great leader franchise QB will handle it if the Cowboys do decide to release Zeke over the next two offseasons?

They are disturbingly close. We may get a tirade series of tweets from Tad.
