Could you imagine making the Wild Card game as an AFC team and having to deal with Mahomes, Allen, Herbet, Burrow, Wilson, Jackson, Carr, and then coming up the Mac Jones and Trevor Lawrence's of the world?

The NFC is the old guard with Stafford , Rodgers, and Brady holding down the fort. After that it's wide open.

The Cowboys should be thankful that all these great QBs are over on the other side, because I don't know how a Jerry Jones build team could go through a 4 game gauntlet that is the playoffs facing off with any of those 4 QBs in a row.

Yet another reason I was surprised that Wilson agreed to go to Denver knowing how QB stocked the AFC is and knowing the NFC is by far the weaker conference.

Outside of Rodgers, Brady, and Stafford, the next group of QB's for the top tier in the NFC are Dak, Murray, and Hurts.....which speaks volumes as to disparity between conferences.

I think he just wanted to go to a competitive team. Even if the NFC is weak, what good is it playing for a rebuilding team?

I agree except for the Hurts part. Hurts isn't even 4th best in the division.

What's lucky about it? That it gives us a chance to be a paper tiger again?
We're a paper tiger regardless until we prove that we're not.

I'm saying that with Jerry Jones as the owner and certain players playing important positions we have a MUCH better opportunity to make a deep run in the QB weak NFC then we do in the QB stacked AFC.

I'm sorry, but can you tell the class where there is an excuse here? Thanks!

If Dak plays bad he has a built in excuse because of his ankle in the mind of the DaK detractors.

If he does well its because all the good QB's are in the AFC in the mind of the Dak detractors.

Confused, didn't the NFC win the last 2 SB?
That's exactly the reason the Cowboys should think they're lucky stars.

They could beat any single AFC team in a single game elimination, but would you trust them 4 games in a row against the gauntlet of that combination of QBs?

I disagree, if Dak is healthy enough to play then I expect him to go out and produce. If he is hurt then don't play. Goes for any player.

And you know this how? This is nothing but your own opinion. Teams win remember not QB

Neither could Rodgers. Teams win remember.
You're proving my point for me and I thank you for that.

A Jimmy G, who the is now the 49ers back up, led team was able to get to the NFC Championship game last season.

This is the whole point of why the Cowboys should think they're lucky stars they are in the NFC. I know you understand this, but you just want to be difficult instead, but that's fine.

This is false. It's why I asked you what was lucky about it? A paper tiger isn't beating the AFC rep. It's why the AFC lost 13 super bowls in a row. Putting up paper tigers like the Broncos and Bills.

The Cowboys aren't lucky. The teams that are lucky are the Packers, Bucs, and Rams. They're the lucky teams. Easier path to the SB and they can compete with the AFC rep.

I'd rather be a top NFC then a middle of the pack AFC team.
