You shouldn't apoligize, but you gotta take advantage of it to.

The Patriots did that.

They aren’t trying to take advantage of it. If they were they would have gone for Miller or ZDS or tried to hit any of the free agents so they could go for it.

I agree with you there.

A Wild Card loss every few years has become acceptable for this organization as well as a certain segment of the fanbase.

There's some fans that are happy as long as we have a good regular season that provides at least 1 extra week of Cowboys football.

Could you imagine making the Wild Card game as an AFC team and having to deal with Mahomes, Allen, Herbet, Burrow, Wilson, Jackson, Carr, and then coming up the Mac Jones and Trevor Lawrence's of the world?

The NFC is the old guard with Stafford , Rodgers, and Brady holding down the fort. After that it's wide open.

The Cowboys should be thankful that all these great QBs are over on the other side, because I don't know how a Jerry Jones build team could go through a 4 game gauntlet that is the playoffs facing off with any of those 4 QBs in a row.
It is hilarious that Dak is clearly better than 4 of the qbs you list here and it is highly debatable if he is better than 2 of the others.

Cowboys have a defense built for passing teams btw.

We get it. We know how highly you hold Dak. You let us know again. Move along now.

It will then become 'all of the afc teams knocked each other off to get there!' lol
That's literally what you have to do on both sides.....

You literally could say that about both teams that make it to the Super Bowl.

"The Cowboys made the Super Bowl because all the NFC teams knocked each other off" ....Ummmmm...that's how the playoffs work.

You didn't think that one through did ya? lol

Here we go again with the "Chicken Little" commentary. Why "only" Dallas?

Why. So they can be mediocre and draft between 17-22. I’d rather they take their beating and get some blue chippers in to help Micah.

Usually, they are the best teams.

Well, we already beat Wilson in a wild card/playoff game, so its not like its impossible.....

I think he just wanted to go to a competitive team. Even if the NFC is weak, what good is it playing for a rebuilding team?

I agree except for the Hurts part. Hurts isn't even 4th best in the division.
Yep, you're right. Hurts is the only player in the history of the NFL who is incapable of improving going into his 3rd year.

I don't predict the future. I was simply responding to someone that mentioned him as one of the 3 top QBs after the elites. He has never shown that. Not even close.

It's not even like he's like all other QBs. He's a first read/run QB in college. How many of them transitioned well in the NFL? Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow were two of the more notable ones. Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Jalen Hurts, and Jordan Love of the current ones. The only one that has had any success improving his passing game is Lamar Jackson. And he's still not that good of a passer. It's not like the starting point is a pocket passer. Jalen is a better runner than passer. This is the NFL. Hurts isn't going to miraculously become a good pocket passer. The dude doesn't go through progressions and rolls out to his right every time the first read isn't there. It's embarrassing to watch. Will he improve in his 3rd season? Yeah, but to what? Not garbage?

Okay, beat a Wilson led team now, then you have at least 2 more teams led by those QBs.

The AFC is a rough road in the playoffs.

The Patriots did that.
The Patriots played 10 other games every year outside of their division. And a first place schedule every year.
How did they do in those other 10 games?
They didn't go 6-0 every year in their division.

Answer: They beat pretty much most of their opponents. In or out of division. In or out of conference.

Unlike Dallas.
Regardless of how strong the QBs are in the AFC.

The Pats both had a great team and a weak division almost every year.

Anybody that says the Pats made their name from that are just people that want to take credit away from them for their accomplishments.

They would have been great regardless.

Yeah exactly. I understand the gist of your post bro and agree with it wholeheartedly. The AFC has many more superior QBs than the NFC.

The whole Brady feasted on "just the AFC East" is fake news and blatantly false.

Those who always use that as some sort of reference point never talk about how the Patriots did in the other 10 games every year.

They pretty much beat whoever they played regardless of division or conference. Not just a weak division.

Dallas seems to only beat on a weak division.

Big difference.

That's my point.
