The Cowboys will be dominant team in 2023

Very Young team surrounding quickly approaching senior Dak,, the team is built correctly, everything is in place for the senior leaders to take advantage of a possible post season contribution.
This season is about staying healthy and Dak learning how to participate at the level that he can contribute.
If that takes place than we can walk right in to the NFCCG

On offense I would mix it up , power run out of the I formation some to keep defenses honest , then spread defenses out with 4 recievers and lots of motion at times. But not at all times , do different things keep defenses guessing. This defense is going to be awesome.

I'm fired up !.

Plenty of time to pump the brakes later if this stuff backfires.

Offense should be OK (I'm anxious to see what it looks like without KM influence). Anxious in a good way and a bad way.

Defense should be stellar if they don't read their own press clippings and fall for the cheese.

If the special teams play is good, then the cowboys should have a good year

I wouldn't be surprised if we took a step back this year.

Just a hunch
After back to back 12-5 seasons it’s possible, especially with the schedule we have coming up. If we do take a step back, that’s pretty much it for our chances at a Super Bowl at least in the near future.

Kicker and RB worries me.
And there’s always the injury possibility. We’ve never overcome injuries that well but I was impressed losing Dak last year and still surviving

Teams have been holding us back all this time, all this time I have been so unaware.
this thread is about the cowboys being dominant in 2023

"all this time" and what you have been unaware of doesn't matter

Jerruh PROMISING this year he won't pull the ball away at the last second, despite doing it 27 times in a row. Everyone in here contemplating taking a 28th run at the ball........

Teheheheheheheeee

I wouldn’t be surprised by a step back, meaning 10 or 11 wins instead of 12. But I think because of the schedules, Philly would take steps back as well.

I think the defense will be top 5, and I think Dak is at the point of his career where the game slows down for him and he can read coverages easeir.. I can see the cowboys making it to the NFC Championship this season.

A step back would be accomplishing less than what we did last season. Anything short of a playoff win regardless, what our regular season record is will be a step back. We could win 15 games this season and if we go one and done in the playoffs, that’s a step back and it may cost McCarthy his job. Both of the Joneses appear to be getting pretty impatient with our lack of a deep playoff run, especially not being able to win a divisional round game in 28 years.

I’m just saying we could go 10-7 and still win more than one playoff game, which would be accomplishing more than last year.

It's been a weird offseason. I was forced to recognize that Dak is not a special QB and that he has to play within himself and not turn the ball over (Ala 2016) in order for the Cowboys to win. At the same I've ever seen the defense this stacked while McCarthy is switching up the offense in a way that directly addresses my concerns from last reason.
If Dak can just drive the bus and make a couple of big plays per game and the team stays healthy, this could be a Super Bowl year. But if that doesn't happen, it will be because of injuries or because Dak just isn't good enough. We'll find out!
