That's why added the question mark in the title. They'll be top 10 and that's more than enough in the nfl. People need to get over that 2016 oline, the way they played together that year doesn't happen often but I don't think for a second our oline is holding us back
Never do.Don’t believe the hype
Nice cheerful article...
...except for one thing...
...Tyron Smith seems to be getting injured every year lately. Does anyone believe he will remain healthy all of next season? I don't. So, back to having Knight or Erving back at Left Tackle? How has that worked out this season?
PFF's position rankings after Week 12:
Tackle:
Tyron Smith- 67.8 not enough snaps to rank
Steele- 49.7 (76th out of 78)
B. Knight- 58.3 (66th)
C. Erving- 58.0 (68th)
Steele is better than 2 other tackles? Wow #77 and #78 must really suck.Nice cheerful article...

I get that the article is an extreme optimistic view, but in what reality is it worse? You literally have to have Tyron and Lael Collins both not come back at even 80% of what they were in 2019. Zach Martin would have to regress significantly, none of the young guys would develop, and the team would add no depth to the unit. For it to get worse that it already is.....thats just....wow....really...really bad.On paper yes, in reality it might be far worse
I mentioned it several years ago, Tyron Smith should have had corrective surgery years ago. He would have been much better by now.Yes, but this is the first year Smith has my issued more than 3 games. It's also the first year that I recall he's had surgery to try and correct his issue.
If he comes back and is able to play out his contract, we have a top 3 LT with a very team friendly contract.
