Glad to hear it was good because personally I thought it sounded wuiet on the tv. So much so I almost said something in the game thread. Maybe it's just the tv mics or something?? I get kind of jealous of some of these loud stadiums (tv wise).

Yes. A lot more than last year. Their high expectations brought them all here. The same will happen with KC, GB & Philly.

The scalpers are making a fortune this year. The rest of us get stuck sitting next to these people.

Thankfully for me the giants fans sitting next to me got into some odd argument and the girl get up and left and then the guy followed her and they never came back! It was great.

That's not really true. Ticket prices were lower than I expected for thi game. Quite a bit cheaper actually. Tickets should have gone for 3x face for that game.

Did it seem loud on television?

It was loud in my home!

Mora hired a sound buffering team to drown out the enthusiasm. They all had maximum absorption tampons that they held in the air throughout the game to absorb the sound waves, word on the street is that Eli had to grab one and run to the locker room shortly after the game.

For the TV viewing and the noise. A lot has to do with the broadcast too. And a lot is each persons perception.
The TV broadcast crew are on an enclosed booth. I don't think the window can be opened, not sure.
So if the sound comes through their broadcast in the booth, it will be muffled somewhat.

But what one hears as loud, another hears as low. Same for at the stadium. Remember this stadium is built for the noise to filter down to the field making it louder at field level and allowing the fans in the upper sections not hear the noise as much. So you can hear the next person talk if they are talking loudly.

So therefore somes perceptions of not being loud is based on hearing noise around them too.

I always take it with a grain of salt when people say the crowd sucks.

No, the crowd sucks, it's always been an issue. I've sat all over the stadium... Top, bottom, all the same.
