The Cut List

Stanback needs to go pronto. I'm not about to give him anymore playing time. He's done didley squat so far. Looks timid returning kicks and is an ingrown toe nail or an infected armpit hair away from landing on injury reserve. i'd cut him today.

I think Justin Rogers looked VERY out of place. No rush moves. No real power, and was taking bad angles and slow to shed blocks in the running game too.

Stanback did not even look as fluid or as fast as Oggletree (sp)in the kick return game, although he is trying.

Mickens was a deer in headlights but is a totally rookie thrown to the wolves to see how he'd react. He at least was hustling and trying. He gets time still.

Proctor. I'm sorry, but send a message and go get a veteran instead, even if we have to overpay. This guy is going to cost us a QB and a game or two. Bad snaps, and no power. He is mobile, but doesn't fit Dallas Oline. Probably a nice guy, but the coaches HAVE to see this.

Holland may be a big fatty (and on one goaline play not sure if RB went to wrong hole or Holland did a draw to wrong side?!) but at least he doesn't get driven back, and I saw him run out and hit people. Even if he isn't agile or balanced, weak Holland isn't.

I need to watch it again.

David Buehler: Not all of his kick-offs were touchbacks.
Nick Folk: Can't miss a chip shot like that.

Bring back Grammatica or Cortez! :p:

Brown, Ball, Watkins, Mickens...get the f-in out. They have no skills.

If i was the coach, Proctor would have been the first player in history to be released at halftime. Oversnap and QB exchange fumble. No excuses plus i can’t stand him.

That Reid kid i wouldn’t personally cut. I would assume he knew he had no chance.

I give your post an F.

..for funny! :lmao2:

Shoot with the way that Ogletree was returning those kicks today he might of signed Stanbacks pink slip. Still a few more pre season games to go and Ogletree didnt help his cause with that drop but I like his upside and his KR just added to his value

Ogletree dropped that pass because it was late and high and wide.

He still should have caught it though. You have to make those plays when you are a FA rookie looking for a spot.

Stanback pass was right in between his hands at the highest point in the End Zone and he drops it. He can't afford to drop those.

Ogletree was like 8 yards better than Stanback on returns and he looks a bit faster as well.

They will probably battle all preseason for that job.

One thing. Can I see these guys on the field with Kitna and Romo instead of McGee. That kid is playing scared and you will never get a great look at a WR when the QB is throwing the ball late or won't throw it more than 10 yards downfield.

2 guys I figured had no chance at making this team had strong showings tonight. Steve Octavien and Derreck Robinson were dominant while they were in there. Robinson did have a roughing penalty but was constantly in the backfield. Octavien was simply everywhere! Good thing since B. Williams is battling shoulder and now knee injuries.

I saw more tonight from Ogletree than I've seen from Stanback in 3 years. Ogletree seems to have more natural ability.

It doesnt matter, the smart people on this board said Stanback has to be the 5th WR. So if they say so, then it is so.

I'll agree with you as soon as Ogletree starts making any contributions to the passing game.

I thought Ogletree was one of the bright spots for the 3rd stringers. He caught a couple of passes that were off line.

I liked Ogletree and hope if nothing else he makes the P.S.

I also liked Lattimore. He won't make the team but I hope he makes it through to the P. S.

I really like Bennett as well. He made a couple of impressive catches.

Hurd did a good job. I think he has moved up on the pecking order.

Olgetree won't make it to the practice squad. We'd better keep him on the 53-man roster or another team will sign him.

You might be right, although I don't see him getting much playing time aside from ST. Happy Bday, btw.

The really smart people on this board wait to hear what the Bear thinks... :D

The Bear says that Ogletree came from UVa, so he must be the real deal... bye, Stanglass... :D :D
