Based on tonights performances, who gets the pink slip?

So far, I have:
Courtney Brown
Pat Watkins

Add Justin Rogers. And we'd better start scouring the waiver wire for Ratliff's backup. Siavii was either on the ground or pushed upfield too much.

Where's Sam Adams when you need him? We need a big fat arse in the middle.

Hell I'll volunteer. I couldn't be any worse.

If Proctor gets cut, at least he has Free Reign to make a living.

Give Mickens time. He was injured some last season, had to have surgery did the rehab. Now he is a rookie in the NFL, where everything is so much faster.

I picked on him a lot last night, as did the Raiders. I am glad his first game was so abysmal. Campo can now get him in the film room and correct each mistake. I look for him to have an inspired week of practice. I also look for him to play slightly better in game 2. BTW, he did make a couple of plays in last nights game, so not everything was negative.

Wouldn't you hate to be Mickens in the film room with the db's this morning....

C.Brown they will just laugh at, but Mickens is going to get chewed out for the first time in his life. He was a star in high school and very good in college. He found out last night the NFL is a different ball game. Glad he got abused in pre-season actually. That will give him a ton of nightmares to inspire him to get better.

Brown needs to go..
Stanback cannot play receiver..He's just waiting on his next injury..
Mickens may look good if he can mesh with 1st team.
I didn't see the 1st half but did our defense look better than the 2nd half?

Stanback should be gone. Honestly he is a waste of a roster spot.

Brown is terrible. He can't cover, but makes up for it with his inability to hit people. Watkins is a good special teamer which gives him value so he's tough to cut.

First official cut isn't for a few weeks, but I think we'll see a few of these guys waded out before 75 man roster is due on Sept. 1st.

As far as established players go, Brown is on the outside looking in. Stanback doesn't seem to present anything that Ogletree can't do quicker. Don't get me started on Proctor, no excuse for some of those plays.

Nobody, it's the first preseason game...OMG!!!:bang2:
Actually yes. Roster cuts are a part of the preseason. Somebody needs to and will be sent home. So save the few brain cells you have left from banging your head and evaluate the roster like everyone else.

It's the first preseason game, so I'm not too concerned about the rookies or even the first year players being somewhat lost out there. It happens and some will need time to perfect their techniques and learn their roles.

With that said, neither Siavii or Anderson are young players and both of them got consistantly worked last night. If we go into the season with either of these guys backing up Ratty, we're in serious trouble.

The other guy who was terrible was Courtney brown, as other have said. He looked like a dog chasing cars back there. Just awful.

Brown, Ball, Watkins, Mickens...get the f-in out. They have no skills.

If i was the coach, Proctor would have been the first player in history to be released at halftime. Oversnap and QB exchange fumble. No excuses plus i can’t stand him.

That Reid kid i wouldn’t personally cut. I would assume he knew he had no chance.

I have a fear that now that the Eagles have signed Vick, Jerry might feel that that signing could take heat off him getting Pacman back as a backup CB after seeing how "well" our backups after Scandrick played.

Granted, he would be 10 times better than any of those backups, but still.

Agreed. I am not ready to write him off yet. Now Brown? I would say that was his last shot. Three year rule.

The recently signed WR who fumbled the punt at the 11. GONE

I'm willing to give Stanback some more Camp time. But when I saw that snap go over Kitna's head (or maybe it was McGee) I was relived to know it was Geroude. I about had a melt down.

With that said, Proctor needs to go. But we have little depth with any experience on the OL we really can't afford to cut him. We do need though to find someone else who can snap the ball. Because it ain't him. He also had a bad snap exchange last night that led to a fumble.

Willie Reid.

And if Courtney Brown is on that list, which he should be, then so is Mike Mickens. Neither could stay with their man at all.

Someone from the backup D and O lineman to send a messsage.
...considering the injuries to the 2ndary last year and what's happened here in camp so far, these guys could be asked to step up against starters... they were getting beaten by 2nd/3rd stringers...

While I don't want him here, PacMan may end up not being a bad option....sad as it is to say. Though I think I'd opt for an injury prone Chris McAllister over Jones first... it's even sadder to say this...
