What I love about you is that people that would normally agree with you will disagree because you're an egeals fan. Expose the hypocrisy you little weirdo you.
It's all good, the new spin is Wilson and Foles, while outliers, did in fact make his entire post non credible. Absolutely zero room for outliers to the norm. Its just a shame that the Patriots dont buy into the whole no room for outliers philosophy. Damn them, always an exception to the rule.
The difference is Wilson and Brady won immediately on their rookie contracts. If the qb doesn’t win immediately, then he won’t once he gets his money.
You mention Foles, but Foles busted when he got his money. Is your point Dak will be Foles in St. Louis? Because if you mean he’ll be Foles in Philly, then you need to pay him, cut him and watch him win somewhere else like The Rams did. Big contract didn’t work out there either.
I understood your post and my point was Wilson and Foles were not first Rd draft picks and outliers to what I thought was the original premse of your post...which is to say that a strong majority of the time, SB winning QBs come from the first round. With that being said, I responded in kind with the mention of the Patriots as an accompanying outlier with Brady as a 6th Rd QB and master of all outliers to your very comprehensive post. He is the continuing exception. Wilson and Foles did it for one year a piece. My post had nothing to do with their 1st or second contract or which number team they were with.
Dak wasn't elite right out of the gate? Nah, he only won Rookie of the Year honors and was in the run for league MVP, regardless of being a rookie in 2016.He is not an exception, because he won right away on his rookie deal. My list is specifically about non-first rounders who weren’t elite right out of the gate, like Dak.
I've been guilty of it myself but we should stop feeding the Eagle troll. This guy has a weird fixation on the Dallas Cowboys. He's not as bad as Fwed but still.Dak wasn't elite right out of the gate? Nah, he only won Rookie of the Year honors and was in the run for league MVP, regardless of being a rookie in 2016.

Look everyone. It's another iggles fan trying to defend their Wince while throwing shade on our Dak. The desperation is real. Dak > Wince. It's not even close. The list of failed ROY QBs is a pretty sad list. The list of the top 15 best rookie seasons by a QB is even worse ... btw Dak is just out of top 5
ROY list

He is saying our right too eat poo for the most part.
It all sure doesn't mean WINCE, that's for sure! lolif thats all it takes in your mind to be elite, thered be dozens more QBs in the hall of fame.
Someone wins rookie of the year every... single... year. and more often than not its a qb.
Neil O'Donnell, Vinny Testaverde, Donovan Mcnabb, Tony Romo... if you've played 10 or more years, you've probably finished with respectable MVP votes here or there.
That's not what elite means.

actually only 2006, Big Ben 2004 was only one in the entire history of NFL QBs that won ROY to do anything .... going back to Nixion era is just being diligent.LOL. If you have to go back to Richard Nixon's Presidency to make a point, you have no point.
Lol what a comically foolish response. You forgot to mention Romo's 2nd big contract in 2011 which was even bigger than the 2007 by far. Funny how you mention how none of those 16 way overpaid QBs ever reached an NFC Conference Championship Game, yet Romo would and should have reached it in 2014 if it wasn't for them crooked officials. The same goes for Dak his rookie year. Dak and the Cowboys should have reached the NFC Conference Championship in 2016 if it wasn't for the crooked officials. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. Pretty much blows your whole story to smithereens.
We can close this thread now.
You're welcome.
