Those are fixable issues. His throwing motion is compact, he has NFL arm strength, ice in his veins, is a hard worker, and a good team leader.

He'll be fine. Mechanics can be adjusted.

Except, the question here is, it doesn't look like he has NFL arm strength. That's not fixable.

It shouldn't be about that. I agree with you. It's a complicated situation and I hope we handle it correctly. Romo's not perfect but we shouldn't be bashing him either.
Its not complicated. Romo looks great holding a clipboard and Dak looks great leading this Cowboys squad to win after win after win.

That's not true at all. He can make all the throws. His footwork betrays him sometimes though.

His footwork was bad tonight.. He didn't square and set properly often including the int. As Jaws would say, the philly rush "rented space" in his head somewhat.

Tomorrow, I'm going to show two plays comparing Wentz and Prescott to show the difference between the two in tight window throws. I'll try to get some GIFs (The one was the INT, so it shouldn't be tough)

There is simply too much gameplanning around Prescott's faults that I just can't seem him being some 12-15 year QB. His footwork has seemed to get worse as the weeks have gone as well, he's regressing in that area.
Are you going to dissect a smoke screen or dump to the back for Wentz?

Should be interesting.

I didn't see this type of analysis from you after Cincy or Green Bay...looking forward to it!

Don't give me this crap. If we could only discuss this stuff if we were coaching or playing QB, this place would be dead.
What throws does Dak have trouble making? Bring facts to support your argument. Post those gifs you supposedly have. We're all waiting

The Eagles made him uncomfortable all night. He's a rookie. It's going to happen.

The dude has shown enough this year to make me 100% confident that he's our guy for the next decade (even if we do go back to Romo for a little while). I have no idea what anyone else is watching that can't see that.

Dude, I already have in previous threads. I have discussed this multiple times. I have already brought up the pass that was picked off.

Did you see the second angle that went to Dak's point of view? He was attempting to fight the ball between a defender and who was on Butler. He didn't have the arm strength, the defender had enough time to react to the ball.

Wentz made THE EXACT type of throw on a third down, it went between two defenders before their brains could even register the throw. This is why it's important. You guys continue, and I'm thinking it's intentional, to miss the point. You don't even want to discuss it. It's really odd.

Any other QB in this league and it would be discussed. But not Prescott.

for romo the regular season is a slog. He left seen it all. He can't accomplish anything special. But for dak. All of this is special.

Imagine we go 18-1, found our qb of the future, AND romo rides out in a blaze of glory?

I like how we matchup with the patriots
No, dont want to tangle with the Pats. They are on a higher plane. We are not yet there.

Exactly. Even Tom Brady didn't start as a rookie. I think Dak had a below average game until the 4th Quarter and then played well enough to make it an average game.

But the fact it took him until his 7th game to have a game like that and he still has a 6-1 Record is all you need to know.
