I can't tell you how many times I cussed at him during the game, but this is by far his best game of the year. Am I talking statistically? Absolutely not. The guy had a horrid game and when it mattered most, he tied it up and then won it. This is exactly what I wanted to see him do. Play a good team from behind and rally your squad back.

Props to the ROY!
He showed tremendous grit and perseverance. Loved the Romo-esque pirouette on the play at the end there. Looked like vintage Tony buying time to Witten.

It's great to have gotten the win while still learning a ton in the process. He will be better QB from this experience.

We used to lose these types of games. Heinously. Incredulously. Inexplicably. He gutted out the win. As did the whole team.

Tomorrow, I'm going to show two plays comparing Wentz and Prescott to show the difference between the two in tight window throws. I'll try to get some GIFs (The one was the INT, so it shouldn't be tough)

There is simply too much gameplanning around Prescott's faults that I just can't seem him being some 12-15 year QB. His footwork has seemed to get worse as the weeks have gone as well, he's regressing in that area.

Do you have the gif for which QB won the game?

Save yourself the time and just enjoy 6-1

I said before this game, there were a few things i was looking for since I suspected the Eagles would play against our receivers tight (They did it against the Vikings), I said i don't care if Dak wins or loses the game, I want to see how he makes throws going up against tight coverage. He failed. If that worked for you guys, that's fine. Go ahead and cheer, same as Denver did for Tebow and whined when he was traded.

I have a sneaking feeling the coaching staff is seeing what I'm seeing. A few others on here are as well. If you see Romo out there, you know why.

Please do us all a favor AND DON'T do this. Not because Dak does not deserve a level of criticism but because of your tired, lame trollish agenda. Is this all you have to say about tonight?

Romo missed all but two of those games, I think. And one of the two he won.

We've lost our share of games with Tony starting. It's very rarely because of him being confused by a game plan to blitz him. Getting hurt and being confused obviously aren't the same things.

Well it just shows he keeps getting injured over and over. I mean the dude is tough as anyone I've ever seen I can't believe there are people that call him soft he has gone through neck shoulder and back injuries. But at some point it's a pattern if they put him back in it's the last thing I would hope for but he could go out with another serious injury. I know you'll say "well then just put Dak in" but I"m legit scared for Romo's health he could do some damage that will effect him the rest of his life. You know defenses are going to absolutely dial in on him if he plays. But hey if they go with Romo and he stays healthy good for him but there's something about this kid Dak that doesn't always show up in the stats, a winner. Romo's had a decade and for whatever reason only has 2 playoff wins you can make excuses but it doesn't matter he still has only 2 playoff wins in a decade, it takes 3 just to win a Super Bowl in one season.

Did Dak do anything right? Do you have any balance whatsoever? Do you realize Dak has started 7 NFL games in his lifetime? Do you realize that he was money on the tying drive and in overtime? Do you realize that philly made Ben and Bradford look like rookies?

Yes? Since this discussion is becoming even more relevant since Romo's expected date to return is either against the Browns or the following week. Also, you keep saying I'm trolling, but here you are saying he deserves this level of criticism...

Maybe, just maybe, me and a few others saw these flaws before they smacked everyone else in the face? But hey, just like Shango after games, it's all emotion with short term memory.

Definitely was a gritty win. And a great win. I still think it's a game where you look at what confused the rookie in the film room afterwards and it's a fairly long list of things. That's not a knock on Dak, either. It's just part of the process. But there's no doubt he was struggling with a lot of what was thrown at him tonight.
Yes. You study it. You keep working. Then you go get another W. Nothing there speaks QB change.

I am taking the approach that you are tonight. I can't believe we came away with a win. I am enjoying it tonight with a couple of cold celebratory beers.

But let's be honest here. The majority of threads made on this forum is from people enamored with Dak that have an agenda. Many times it's not really about Dak, it's about hating on Tony Romo.

This is THE DAK PRESCOTT APPRECIATION THREAD!!.. Stop being a troll... your agenda is so incredibly lame and unappreciated. Go in QB zone and create a Dak Prescott Stinks thread? Why not?

How many times has the Cowboys FO rejected your resume?

Injury's a different story. I'd agree that the next injury and the team is Dak's.

There's a ton of recency bias that goes on in these Dak v. Romo discussions. Nobody thought Tony was loser when he was playing with the running game and a lesser defense two seasons ago. They won't again this year if he's the one the team goes with. Tony will have to come in and win a few games to get the fans behind him again, but attention spans are short in the NFL, and Tony's a very good player. If he can stay in the lineup, he can drive this train at least as well as Dak can right now.

Tonight honestly has nothing to do with Tony. At what point are we fans of THE DALLAS COWBOYS and NOT UPSET regarding a tough win? I agree. This should not be about hating Tony but there's nothing wrong with being excited about Dak and most importantly THE TEAM.

I thought Dak chose to scramble at the right times tonight. That's great. But when it came to throwing, he was off target especially on deep balls. He had two really good throws tonight: The deep to Dez on the second drive, and the one where he threw it above the receivers head so only Beasley could get it.

Outside of that, I saw his footwork getting worse, he was throwing up ducks, forcing throws instead of throwing it away, not reading the field well which resulted in missing wide open players, and showed his lack of arm strength could hurt us in crucial moments (Watch the INT again, you will see what he was attempting to do, he just couldn't fit the ball in)

This was simply just an awful game by Dak. I see little to no redeeming factors.

To call this game his best of the year is a slap in the face to anyone who's been watching every game.

He was clutch in OT, but the only reason he had the opportunity to do that was because the defense came up with some big stops.

He was terrible for 4 quarters.
It's a team game...is it not? Dark played his part and played it well...How bout them Cowboys!!!

Nothing wrong with being excited at all.

I haven't been this excited since 2014. We had a great come from behind win and it has been a great night. I don't know who is upset.

I find it funny how people say others are driving an anti Romo agenda when, on the heels of our biggest win of the season, they're socializing and rationalizing their flailing anti Dak agendas. (in a Dak appreciation thread at that)

Hypocrisy at its best.
