Did we win any playoff games between 1997-2008? Simple question.

It's not about "making us look as bad as possible"> It's about the truth. Can ya handle it?

Absolutely, if it makes you feel better to phrase the lack of playoff success since our last Super Bowl that way, I mean, it's an honest statement, but so is 3 wins in the last 26 years.

1997 - 2008 (0 playoff wins) 11 years (The drought)
2009-2021 (3 playoff wins) 12 years (Widely scattered showers, sprinkles?)

Looking at it this way will make everyone feel better about the team since 2009

I am sincerely hoping for a string of wins to finish this year and end all of the playoff futility.

We’ve won three playoff games since 2009.

We were in a drought from 1997-2008.

For some reason everyone includes the drought when framing recent history.

Why not say “X playoff wins since 2009”, or better yet, “X playoff wins since 1990”. Everyone uses 1996 because it makes it sound as bad as possible.
