I think we all could have predicted this thread during the offseason. Lost tons of pieces and only added Zeke and Kendricks.

Only Jerry thought different.

Or, Jerry thought he could fool everybody into thinking this team had a chance.

He is a free agent. If he plays well it only helps the chance of him signing elsewhere.

Dallas benefits in no way. If I’m missing something, please point it out.
You could say the same about Rush.
Heck, let them rotate like Morton and Staubach did, every play...lol

There are a couple of theories.

1. Lance is as bad as he looked in the preseason finale and is simply not capable of leading the offense.

2. The Cowboys secretly want Lance backing up Dak next year, and are "hiding" him in order to make him more affordable in free agency.

Because the Cowboys need to see him as much as possible in a real game before he walks. I know it most likely won't matter but that's what a real front office does before potentially letting a good QB get away while you're stuck with a fraud.

Nobody's going to pay Lance big QB money regardless of what he does in those last two games.
